Definitely! If Andre comes in looking like he did last year, then it's game over for everybody else. And you know the big man has been working hard the whole year getting bigger and harder.

:huh: Guys and here I tought he was'nt gonna compete in the SA Champs.
Saw him at the SA Novice and altough he had a long sleeve shirt on it still looked like he was carring a lot of extra weight.
SA is 4 weeks away and he did'nt look dieeted down by looking at his face.

I see him in the gym everymorning-trust me he is ripped to shreds. And he will be competing about 3 kg's heavier than last year

Hi all!

For those of you who where at the SA champs the weekend and also attended the pre judging on Fri. What do you think about the fact that Andre vd Mescht won the super heavy.
I think Marius was ripped of.
Glad Arthur won the overalls.
Some usefull info Milos sheared on Sat morning.:ohmy:

So what do you base that on? Yes Marius in my opinion had the most awesome symmetry on stage of all the weight devisions with the Exeption og Mario van Biljon in the light heavies. But he wasnt carying enough muscle and his conditioning was not on par with Vos and vd mescht. Granted Andre was lucky to beat Vos in my opinion. I recon it was VERY close

Did you see the pre-judging on Fri. vd Mescht had no def witch led to a re-judging at the main event. He came in as hard as a rock. On Thursday he weighed in a 117kg. Marius 109kg. Where do you Marius should pack on any more weight. Was in the change rooms when Marius and Vos warmed up. Marius much bigger and more summetrical than Vos. Vos has a weak back and is block like shaped.

Yes MArius did come in at 109 which is about 4kgs heavier than his prev comp if memory serves-and it clearly was all water. he will be SA overl champ in not more than 2 years time-and he is prob one of the only okes we have that has a chance at Worlds and in 5 years maybe get on Stage at olympia. That is if he does not follow suit with Vos and grows a GH gut. Andre is still the best we have in the supper heavies-but hes 37 this year if im not mistaken and his time is up. Was he lucky to win-propably was Marius robbed-nope-he should have been better prepared on the day-guess thats experiance for u

I was fortunate enough to have lunch with Milos on Sunday what a great individual very hardcore. He is coming back in November this year and I am bringing Dorian Yates out aswell to do joint seminars around the country and believe me they are going to be worthwhile attending as i am personal friends with Dorian and neither he or Milos are contracted to the IFBB anymore so there will be no limits as to what they will discuss. Marius Donhe was totally ripped off he would have won the overall there is no way arthur or andre could have beaten him..

Well -thats the minority opinion clearly. Vos beat him 2 times in a row now. And Andre beat both of them. One of those things-Id be surprised if Marius doesnt win this next year thou-that back pose he does just blew me away!. i do know Andre personally thou-so i am a bit biased-but It seems you know Marius...(-,

:woohoo: At last somebody that agrees with me that Marius was ripped off. I also agree that he would have won the overalls if he went through, but unfortunatlly he did'nt and because of that I am glad that Arthur won the overall.

While we're discussing the SA's, what do you guys think of the Light Heavyweight division? It seems that was one of the most controversial lineups this weekend. Kotze deserved to win, hands down, but did Quentin Fong really deserve his second place? I wasn't very close to the stage, but he looked very smooth and flat to me.

Quintin was quite flat, I reccon he tried some of the things Milos discussed earlier that morning thus the reason for him being so flat.
Even worse what do you think about the fact that Marco Rossi placed 4th. I was behind stage after he got his prize.
He was damn upset and said he will never compete IFBB again.:whistle:

Quintin looked much better at the provincial show and although the Bulgarian guy who placed second to Quintin at the provincials in my opinion has unbelievable potential and could easily have beaten Quintin should have stayed in shape because he would have won. The problem with Quintin is he listens to too many people and getting into what Milos said about insulin it will only work if you do it properly. Milos also didnt go into enough detail regarding certain things he does with the top pros and it doesnt work for everyone first time round. Marco is a great performer and maybe robbed of a third placing.

Marius looked awesome. I recon he should have placed second. Mario van Biljon claims to be 100% natural. What do you guys think. He looks pritty awesome to me. :cheer:
