Hi DJ.

I've read what you posted on Dieting 101, awesome.
Some of the "g per LB" etc still confuses me a bit. Every one i spoke to said i must chat
to you.

Can you please let me know what you charge to work out a meal plan for me. And if you would mind if possible going through the trouble to break it down for me really simple so i can just measure and get myself in shape. I posted what my current diet is etc, and clearly it stinks.

I am amazed by the human body. I have had good results dieting, but reading all this I know now why I am battling to get the last couple of kg down, my body is fighting me, for a lack of Calorie intake. I am not eating enough, my protein intake is to little.

Speak softly but carry a big stick.

Since youre a vegan then you have to start eating lots of fish untill you get a finn on you're back.

DJ I have a question. You say 90 kg of lean mass x 2.2 (pounds)= 198. 198 x 1.5 (grams of protein required) = 297 grams of protein. Okay I got that but lets for argument sake say that a 100 grams of chicken breast contains 20g of protein. You are referring to the full 100 grams of chicken breast when talking about the 297 grams, right, otherwise one would need to eat a shit load of protein. I hope I am making sense.

Nope, only the 20g of protein in the chicken counts towards the 297g you need. As Pumped said you're going to have to go through a ton of "vegetarian" fish to get there

No when I talk about 40g of protein per meal I am talking about 200g of chicken... So u are going to be needing to consume quinoa,soya and any high protein source veg u can find

Deadgoat,this guys beliefs are his own,the vegiterian fish comment is a little uncalled for buddy.I know u are just having a laugh and stuff but some people don't take it that way, I did laugh at it though,some people don't like being called out on their beliefs,sometimes I bet u feel the same about someone calling u out on stupid things that happen in your relegion ie scienctologists!! Haha. Not coming hard at u deadgoat just saying a little less sarcasm in some post likes like this where guys aren't willing to discuss their beliefs and reasons :D

Thanks DJ your post was very informative.

Ive only recently discovered the true value of nutrition in attempting to reach physique goals.

Although there is a wealth of knowledge on the topic out there I'm still lost when it comes to putting it all together into something that will help me reach my requirements.

I weigh in at 94kg, height 1.82m, not sure of bodyfat % but i have a lot of fat around my waste and chest.

want to start with a cutting diet.

Could you possibly help with me?

i saw koe the weekend at IFBB up in gauteng, UNREAL..

start with overall weight if u are about 15% body fat if higher then use lean body weight. if hard gainer use over all body weight.

Healthy fat options - flaxseed oil, coconut oil, avacado, unsweetened and unsalted natural peanut butter. Quick four examples for you :)
