Thats an excellent idea, just start what you planned and adjust when needed.

On Keto you are making use of a different energy system: Fats
Your between set recovery will definitely be affected, especially in the first month as your body is making its transition from one energy source to another.

Yes that´s true bud but isn´t the whole idea of weight training to deplete glycogen stores so as to get into ketosis faster and to stay in a state of ketosis?

What I was alluding to is that FST-7 was designed for use with a different energy system.
So to put it so that an engineer would understand.

You are trying to compete at F1 in a diesel car...

An update on my diet.

Start: 86.3Kg
Week 1: 84.4Kg
Week 2: 83.3Kg

Didn´t lose as much as thought the first week but I guess I can attribute that to the fact that I went on a shall I say ´diuretic spree´ where I used some dieting tricks to lose water.

Waardeer jou opinie chomma!

Week 3

Finally got hold of a caliper. It was about R100 so not the best, but it's something. I carry most of my fat around my mid-section so I chose the Jackson/Pollack 4 site measurement system for calculation purposes..

Measurements: (mm)
Chest- 11
Abs- 21
Thigh- 11
Supraillac- 16
Tricep- 9

Age: 24
Weight: 84kg
Height: 186

Therefore 13.11% bodyfat.
Fat: 11kg
Lean body mass: 73kg

Going to do my first carb up meal tomorrow three weeks in. Is it okay if I do this: (want to spoil myself a little bit)
Breakfast: Beef Tartare (3 egg yellows, onions, spices) with three white bread rolls and lite margarine.
Early lunch: Milk Rice with Strawberries (it's a pudding)
Lunch: Protein
Pre-workout: 500ml Milk with Whey
Post-workout: Protein
Dinner: Protein

Hey broseph. Just out of interest, has your fat loss halted? If it hasn't then I'd keep going since leptin wouldn't have dropped too low.

If it has however, gooi those carbs. Just try not to over indulge.
