Here we go!

Diverting attention from my previous thread, I wanted to start a thread/ log about my journey of testosterone replacement therapy and proposed “blasting” cycle to get back on track and get swole again. Hopefully I can enlighten others on what TRT is like once I undergo. I intend to do replacement with testosterone cypionate to restore to normal physiological levels. In the future due to being out of the country I may need to use Nebido (testosterone undecanoate) a couple of times per year. I prefer cypionate as the cost will be dramatically better and I will feel more in control due to the shorter ester. From my understanding to maintain normal test levels I will need to administer 50-400 mg per fortnight, but with cyp apparently 125mg/ week is ideal Will obviously confirm with my Urologist closer to the time. Will probably start TRT after mid-June.

I was wondering on opinions as to what to add to “blast” for short periods. I’ll probably need to wait a while after commencing TRT so the urologist and I can do some bloods can confirm my test cyp doses are correct for regular natural male levels my age. But after that I'm ready to start picking up some weight again.

Goals
Add lean mass with minimal sides/ disruption to hormone system.
I have T-bol and Var on hand and am keen to use them. I've had great success with Var in the past (low body fat so ideal for Var IMO) and plan to use it again. T-bol also seems like a perfect kicker as I’ll avoid the un-pleasantries of D-bol. Above goal also highlights why I am not keen just to super-dose cypionate. I need to avoid the estrogenic sides and limit androgenic sides. I also want to avoid changes in mental/ physiological state.

Stats
Weight: 62 kg
BF: Apparently 5% according to my last test, I don’t believe it but I've done calliper test in the past that came close to that.
Training history: 5 years lifting, life-time swimming
Diet: Currently LCHF, but will add substantially more carbs as I increase anabolic usage. To maintain weight I eat around 1400-1600 calories per day.

Anabolic history
Cutting cycle of Var and Prov
Lean mass cycle of Test prop and Var.

Looking forward to inputs or additional ideas. Not interested in HGH and I haven’t been able to source legit SARMS and proper pro-hormones. (Does LP even make GW-501516 anymore?)

Cheers in advance.

Get things settled first, you might be pleasantly surprised at the gains you make once your hormones are at "normal" levels.

and your progress might be nice and consistent, if you're in the upper normal range.
If so, ride that wave slow steady consistent clean gains and pass on blasting.

But then the other side of me says, f#%$k it!

maybe up the test base to 500mg/week
add equi 500 - 700mg/week
Front load with Tbol or Sdrol (I liked Sdrol  )
Bridge to PCT or in your case to cruise.

Cheers Oupiel (Ek kan nie oor daai naam kom nie, jis sies...)

No need to PCT, TRT is for life.

I was on HCG therapy for 3 months, check here. I did make decent gains, but then again I dialled in my diet and supplements to ensure max test efficacy. For example more red meat than I usually would eat, extra vit-D, loads of iron in diet, omega-3's, good fats. Also changed my training to ensure enough rest for respective body parts. This itself is a testament to how novices can avoid anabolics and make gains if they correct all the other factors.

I'll read up on equi, I have little knowledge of it.

Yeah, I meant bridge to cruise.

I chose test Prop & Masteron with Tbol (Big bridge  )

Equi is a "neat" option - low sides (although it does aromatise @ half the rate of test)
But you just have to manage 1 issue i.e. E levels.
It will get you eating like a horse too.

But the other injectable stacking options aren't attractive to me.
Deca works a treat, but I bloat with it too and can do without prolactin sides as well as E.
what else is there???

(Yes Sdrol can complicate the sides management too)

Did some reading up on equi, not keen for it. I'll probably start late July. I reckon I might just keep it simple and increase test dosage (like Ondier did) and add in the orals. I had moerse bad experience with prop in the past, but hoping it was just a reaction to that particular batch. Plus cypionate = less frequent pinning, thank goodness.

What sides does sdrol give that's so bad? I thought cause it's so close to Masteron that sides would be minimal.

Superdrol is methylated Masteron. Just like dianabol is methylated Equipose... Although it originates from Masteron, it is vastly diffrent!

Superdrol has an effect on prolactin, so cabasser is usually recommended...
Superdrol is very toxic on the liver, can cause severe Hypertension and an all round kak feeling of fatigue.
Still can make you nice and strong, keep you lean etc. Like anything it's pro's versus cons.

When it hurts... That's when i start counting, because that's when it starts to count.

If I was you I'd give a normal TRT dose alone a go for a good couple of months first. You may be shocked at how your body responds just being at natural levels again plus you want to find a base line before you start experimenting again.
Remember adding other compounds when your basically never coming off is going to add a hole other load of issues from blood count to strain on your heart so do it gradually.

I'm following this thread closely because I guess it's were I'll end up so I truley wish you all the best. Just don't rush in and put your physique before your health

Go big or go home...

Hey Rhino, ja I think a conservative approach is best to find that baseline you mentioned. Reckon I'm going to be on the Uroligist's trail for a bit (recurring bloods, reports etc). Like I mentioned, the while I was on hCG therapy I had improvements, so precision dosing with test to normal levels should do me just as good.

Thanks for the support and interest. I'll keep up dating.

Hey Lobo,
Sorry for late response. Read your question earlier but don’t want to type out essays on phone.

Well in terms of health risks, think along the lines of the usual sides expected when going on a cycle:
oily skin, breast enlargement, testicle atrophy, changed/swings in mood, balding etc. But instead perhaps think more chronic instead of acute. So I'm guessing the increased red blood count stands out and prostate stimulation.
Higher red blood count means increased risk of heart attack ,stroke and so on.
Prostate over stimulation means higher risk of prostate cancer.

Now I’m not too concerned about the blood clotting. I've always had lower red blood count, elastic veins (don’t smoke and my cholesterol is superb).
Prostate cancer does give off alarms, but then again on TRT my test is only supposed to go normal physiological levels, so I am not sure how realistic an increased risk of prostate cancer is.
There is also increased chance of sleep apnea. But my breathing while sleeping has never been a problem (it’s my bladder that wakes me up).
Balls shrinking is a given, so no children for me. The doctor’s told me I have the option to freeze sperm now, but I’m not interested in kids anyway. The thing is, I responded to hCG. But if I go on TRT my HPTA takes a knock and never be able to synthesise those hormones again through CG - my own or exogenous. So if I’m on TRT, other treatment won't be an option.

Maybe if I missed anything Ondier or others with experience can add, but those are what comes to my mind, for someone my age.

Thanks for all the feedback. Very interesting read my bro!
Two things:
I have two mates who chose to freeze some sperm for possible future use. One has made use of it and his new wife is now pregnant. It may be worth reconsidering. You never know what happens in the future.

Secondly, I feel like I am pissing a lot more too and my bladder does wake me up too. I have heard that when the prostate increases in size, it squeezes against the bladder a bit, causing less space for the urine. Do you think I should have my prostate checked out?

Nate

Today I will do what I never thought possible!

Shot Furk for the insight into this looks like you on top of it I would think if the dose is right a lot of those issues won't come up. end of the day you will be better off with the benefits of getting the test back up out weighs the maybes for me.

I agree with Nate no harm in freezing gives you that option later on if things change.

All the best bro

Sure, if you like that kind of thing :P
But she better be a hot Doctor!!!

Seriously though, are you drinking a shake before bed?
That is bound to have you up in the night to pee.

Also look into anti-diuretic hormone. www.yourhormones.info/Hormones/Antidiuretic_hormone.aspx

Typically, anti-diuretic hormone levels drop when you sleep. Hence the need to pee.

Haha yeh been nervous to ask a doctor. She had better be hot lol.
Yes I am drinking a shake before bed, but I get the feeling the proviron also acts a bit like a diuretic. Could be wrong.
Thanks for the link. I hope its that and not an enlarged prostate bru.

Also how accurate is it?

Interested to see what the TRT does for you, there is a guy on YouTube who has some interesting videos up with regards to his experiences on TRT and such. I found some really informative and interesting: www.youtube.com/user/bignoknow

Got this done at an experimental measuring machine that get's demo'd at various VA gyms, infrequently though. Accuracy is much better than the laser method, but I still don't trust it. I've had a calliper test done in the past. Didn't trust that result either. I always get values lower than I expect.

As said previously, I don't have a date to start, just to go for repeat blood tests to confirm my test hasn't risen. I'm hoping I'll start before the end of next week. Reckon I should source my cypionate now so as soon as the Doc gives me the go I can start pinning on the day.

I know for a fact I'll feel better. I felt great whilst on hCG therapy. I've probably been over-eating in attempt to hold onto muscle, but at least my weights, strength and intensity in the gym hasn't gone down. (Some lifts even went up, probably from excess calories)
