Thanks for your reply GSP, I am looking at running 60 mg var and 40 mg prov for 50 days (7 weeks) which means that I overlap my testc by 2 weeks and start pct on the 37th day after last test pin.

I've gone with option to purely match exact qty of supply which may be a bit doff.

hey pyro, if i may be so bold as to answer your question, I doubt that there would be much difference. IMO either individual would probably look at running the compound at around 40mg/day mark for the duration of the bridge which will be around 20-30 days dependent on the cycle. Var is a very funny compound as unlike most orals its real benefits are witnessed after the third to fourth week of use. As a bridge will unlikely extend beyond that time duration, using anymore of the compound would be counterproductive imo. There is an argument to be made to run var about two/three weeks before the last shot of your long estered injectable and run the compound through your the duration of the bridge. If this is your choice, then running it at 60-80mg for 6 weeks may yield decent results. As admin said, if you want to extend the use of the compound to lets say eight weeks, then you taper back the dosage to around 40mg and run it as much as four to five weeks before the end of your long-estered shot.

Thanx for the input bro. I have read a lot about Anavar and everyone seems to have slightly different ideas on optimal use. Most people think 9 weeks is best. When I saw that Admin suggested a max of 8 weeks I thought I would get his opinion and settle this once and for all.

Further to this, I've also seen Anavar being run for a longer period (10 weeks) when included in a TestProp cycle.

Would 40mg still be fine for 10 weeks or would you suggest running it 1-2 weeks later into the cycle?

Correction to my posts. :blush:

These guys were infact running from week 2 of their 10 week TestProp cycle (incl PCT).

I ran var at 60mg/day for 12 weeks along with 400mg/cyp and didn't have any issues other than slightly elevated BP. Yes, my liver values at the end of the cycle were slightly elevated but not excessively. Its probably a good idea to get these checked during any cycle where you're running orals.

One of the best combos I've ever done. Strength gains were awesome.
