Well if you put 100cc in then you have 100cc which has 5000iu hcg. Inject 5 cc today and 5 cc saturday and repeat until pct.
Its cheap cos you only need 2 amps for your cycle.

Nate, Once re-constituted it contains 5000IU per ml

Therefore to inject 250IU divide 5000 by 250

i.e. 5000/250=20.

That means ideally you have 20 doses of 250IU per reconstituted vial.

Therefore Q.E.D you inject 1ml/20 = 0.05ml or 5 Units on the syringe.

(Remember by definition 1ml=100units therefore 0.01ml per Unit.)

BUT you have 5000IU per ml = 500IU per 0.1ml. Thus to get 250IU you need to inject 0.05ml

Get a 0.5ml Insulin syringe. That will be easier to use than the 1ml syringes.

Withdraw 0.05ml and inject as Oupa demonstrated after his visit to the nail salon :cheer:

Capiche?

Your insulin needle goes to 100 units, you need 5 units only. Are we agreeing Cyplo?

Yes. But you may be confusing guys who don't grasp that 1 unit per injection is equivalent to 50 Units HCG.

I think it will be better to use 50 Unit syringes (0.5ml). It is more accurate on lower dosage scales like 0.05ml.

Nate

Buy 0.5ml Insulin syringes. They may also labelled 50 Units.

Step 1: Reconstitution of the Pregnyl.

Add 1ml Sterile water for Injection to the vial. Carefully and don't shake as the HCG is very sensitive.

Step 2: Getting 250IU
Withdraw 0.05ml or 5 units. The syringe may have both but more than likely be graduated in ml.

Step 3: Injecting
Inject as shown by the pics Oupa uploaded.

NB Change the site every day. i.e. Do not inject the same place every day. The Lovehandles is a good place.

Do you understand.

Remember the vial is vacuumed. So withdraw 2ml air into a syringe and then let the vial slowly suck the air into the vial. HOLD ONTO THE PLUNGER so the vial can suck in the air and balance out.

Then inject the water once this is done.

Simply you put 100 units sabex water into your vial, you need to inject 5 units twice a week - yes its little fluid but does the job

Nate, I think you've worked yourself up into a tizz here. Work through it with me.

1 vial of Pregnyl contains 5000 International Units (IU) of HCG.

You add 1ml of water to enable the stuff to be injected.

Therefore you have 5000IU of HCG per 1ml of water.

Are you still with me.

if there is 5000IU/1ml, then it follows that
there is: 2500IU/0.5ml (divide both sides by 2)
1000IU/0.2ml (divide both sides by 5)
500IU/0.1ml (divide both sides by 10)

Does this make sense? If you have 5000IU per ml then you also have 500IU per 0.1ml
You want 250IU twice a week which is 500IU per week.

Therefore you want to inject 0.1ml per week in total. (500IU per 0.1ml)

Now forget units.

You split this up in two as you inject twice per week. Thus you have 0.1ml divided by 2 which gives you 0.05ml

Therefore you have to inject 0.05ml twice a week.

On an insulin syringe the volume (ml is designated as units. i.e. 1 Unit = 0.01ml. 10 Units = 0.1ml etc)

Therefore 0.05ml = 5 Units.

Taking a deep breath because I am so lost.

Soeach time I want to inject I withdraw 0,05ml from the pre-mixed 1ml vial (ampoule) and inject. Does the ampoule or vial stay in the fridge for that time? Because if injecting 0,05ml twice a week, one pre-mixed ampoule would last for 10 weeks?

Yes. Perfect.

So doesn't workout to expensive in the end.

Interestingly, you cannot for the love of money buy Pregnyl through a Pharmacy anymore. When the stuff is ordered you have to send the original Gynaecologists Script with the exact indication.
Clearly the increase in usage has set alarm bells ringing to the manufacturers who have restricted sales.

I assume the same scenario with Clomid and other generics as it has been "out-of-stock" for several months now.
