Hi all

Okay so here is the deal, i've done some reading and looked at other forums but I need personal advice from the experts here.

I am starting a course in Jan and I want to use Insulin.

I am 90kg pretty lean 12% bf 6.2ft

I need advice on how much insulin to use, when to use it, and a list of do's and don'ts from your personal experience.

Much appreciated!

My course is going to consist of deca 350 and supertest 320 1ml of each every sunday and wednesday.

Thanks

Hi BigW,

I have read that insulin could be very dangerous if not used correctly:

On the other side of the coin, the more insulin present the more nutrients are likely to reach and nourish the muscle cells. In fact, many consider insulin to be the body's top anabolic hormone. Some bodybuilder's looking for big muscle gains actually inject insulin (dangerous, and definitely not recommended).

So, where does this leave you, the person trying to gain lean muscle weight while limiting body fat gains? How should you use your knowledge of insulin to help you to your goals?

Basically, you want to increase your insulin levels when it is more likely that the nutrients are going to muscle cells and decrease your levels (balance) when it is more likely the nutrients are finding homes in fat cells. This speaks to the importance of spiking levels (loading up on simple carbs) pre and post workout (the times when muscle cells are going to be the most receptive).

bud all i can say is dont use insulin unless u intend on turning pro,i promise u now that u can grow alot more using AAS and a good diet before u even consider insulin, there are so many risks with insulin such as diabetic coma, storing of intramuscular fat(not easy to get rid of) and turning into an insulin dependant diabetic, all that for an extra 2 kgs a cycle?? i dont think it is worth it, post up your diet let us see that and maybe u will be surprised that u arent eating enough to grow... and dont say 1 serving and some of this and 2 chicken breasts i want weights of all your food.down to the gram and i bet u i can point out some faults that u need to adjust inorder to grow before u even consider insulin

bro if u are thinking of doing insulin on a diet like that u are in a world of trouble... u have to adjust that diet majorly, a tin of tuna is not enough protien double that, 200g of chicken is the same protein as 2 tins of tuna, bread and milk? some nuts? dude u are not growing cos u are not putting in the right calories... u dont need slin u need to learn to diet

In my opinion insulin does help with gains but aren't worth the risk.

I have had very nice gains after I was diagnosed as type 1 diabetic at age 16, gained about 12kg in that year. At that time I was using 18 IU of slow acting and 8 (3X/day) IU of fast acting insulin. Thats a total of 42 IU of insulin a day! I literally had to keep my jaw moving and pumping down food the whole day to prevent any low blood sugar levels. At the moment I'm using a total of 28 IU units a day and even at this dosage its a real battle to get rid of body fat.

Rather be safe and sorry about your gains than to be dead and not worry.

Bigw i don't know how u came up with this magicall 4000 calories.anyone who tells me that they are eating 4000calories and they say they having a hand ful of nuts here and there is a liar,if u don't weight your food to the gram how do u know exactly how many calories u are getting in,its like saying a banana is 100 calories, but its the banana 10cm long or 20cm long,is it thick or is it thin, with out weighting and measuring u can be 100% certain, also scoops and table spoons are i joke,i was told to have 1table spoon of peanut butter once,i can take a tea spoon and fit more on a teaspoon then on 1 table spoon,it all depends on how heaped the amount that u have is,so your magical calorie count is not spot on champ, also all those fats and slin will get stored.you need 1year with a decent diet and u will grow nicely.

Ok i hear what you saying! and obviously i did not go toooooo indepth of my diet but thats the basics, i've got a food calorie chart as i am sure most of you do, and thats how i work it out based on that, and please im not a midget i don't do things in small doses haha! fuck i wanna grow man im not here to play! i think my diet is good and when i apply it well it works nicely for me! i would appreciate ANY advice as we all know knowledge is power! but my main question was just about insulin, i wasn't considering high dosages that could cause death, i was just wondering if anyone had any personal experience from it?? I know you know you shit well dj so i will listen, how much are you charging for your diets ?

but dude what i am saying is people say 1 chicken breast has 30g of protein but is it a 200g chicken breast or is it 100g chicken breast cos there is a 23g difference between the two...

your insulin protocol has to be so strict... and so precise,i mean the other day some one told me they have some super c's in the car in case they go hypo.what is a 3g sweet gonna do if u go hypo...i have used insulin once for 3 days and it is not a fun experience when you almost go hypo... rather stick to juice,u can email me dude for diet,i dont discuss price on the forum...

Bump DJ, don't play with insulin-thats dangerous stuff with irreversable effects-you accidentally od with gear, you get a couple of zits, maybe lose some hair. Od with insulin and you're in a diabetic coma.

@ djeasye

It a really good idea to carry super c's with you if you are using insulin, they can really save your life and no you won't only use 3g of it like 3 or 4 tabs.

i understand that dude, but what i am saying is guys think that 1 sweet can save your life,i always say to guys using slin(not for the real reason) to keep a buddy coke near incase cos downing that is enough carbs if they take a small insulin shot and get light headed...

I've always taken the amounts per tablespoon on teaspoon as the exact measures described (15mL and 5mL). I have my own set of measuring spoons at home... Of course its not pleasant measuring out a tablespoon of PB, but after checking it once I know that for me a nice heaped teaspoon of PB is the equivalent of an exact tablespoon, and been using that ever since.

Hey BigW
Listen to these guys and forget about doing slin, you are going to be sorry in the long run or dead. Sort out your diet do 3 to 4 bulking cycles over the next 2 years. I know you are going to say, fuck 2 years is to long, but as we all know BB is a sport that take time and there is no quik fix even if we use AAS it takes time. ;)

Have a whole food such as eggs in the morning instead of the shake. I usually have 2 whole eggs and 4 whites. Forget about the yoghurt, lactose doesn't help fat reduction, rather add in a small potato. Have your banana after your workout if you insist on having one, but also try to get some carbs in in the afternoon to help fuel your workout. Also have a caseine protein before you go to bed, this will give you a good source of protein throughout the night.

Juicing 69'er:
Firstly, posting a question completely unrelated to the actual thread in which you are posting, which does not belong to you, is called highjacking a thread. STOP IT! :smack-bum
Either post in a related thread or start your own threadwhere you can ask all the questions you want.

Secondly, if you want advice you need to be more specific. "With rice", or "a shake", does not tell anyone how many calories and how much carb or protein you are having. You need to break down your macros and calories.

Thirdly, are you really tiny or dieting massivly? That is very little food! Especially around training. If you are trying to put on muscle you wont.

Sorry if I offend you

Did you see tha episode of "Truth about Food" where a guy is put on a diet with no dairy for a month and then on dairy for another? Other parts of the diet were exactly the same.

The fat wat seperated from his excrement in both months. The month with the dairy had HUGE amounts of fat as excrement.

Aparently dairy causes less fat to be absorbed.
