Over the last couple of years I've tried various cycles, with help from some of the Mods, to try and determine the best possible cycle stack for my goals.
Goals: Add strength with minimal weight as bodyweight to strength ratio is very important for me in running/OCR. Also I wanted to gain as much Cardiovascularity for the long distance running and extensive training sessions. A third goal was to keep injuries such as Shinsplints and stress fractures at bay, which is a bitch to any long distance athlete and also keep pumps to a minimum. I also wanted to keep side effects to a minimum with a smooth as possible transition into the cycle and also coming off from it.
I am not into Cross-fit, but used Oupa's Cross-fit cycle as a base to work on an Endurance cycle, so thank you Oupa.
I am currently into week 8 and I am so far 100% happy with it and I am reaching all the above goals with distinction.
Now for some input and criticism as I haven't posted my cycle prior to running it:
NPP @ 100mg p/w split 50/50 2 x per week
Test @ 200mg p/w split 100/100 2 x per week
Equi @ 300mg p/w split 150/150 2 x per week
GW @ 20mg p/d split 10/10 am/pm.
PCT 2 to be followed.
I train 2 x per day with strength training (Calisthenics type) in the mornings and cardio/running in the evening @ 6 days per week. Since started I've picked up 2 kg's and lost 3% body-fat and strength have increased significantly.
Everyone is different but I believe I've found the perfect Endurance Cycle in the above mentioned cycle and thought I'd share it should there be anyone interested in an Endurance Cycle especially for sports like Running, Cycling, Triathlons etc.
If anyone have some input as how to better it, or some criticism as to things I've done wrong or could have done differently, please don't hesitate to give input.
Sore today, strong tomorrow!!!
