Primo Prices are crazy right now

I absolutely love Primo. I've ran a few cycles and had no issues. I wanted to start a cycle now but the prices are ridiculous. And with the ingredients shortage. Its a 50 50 if its actual Primo or fake. Am I the only one waiting for the price to drop /media/kunena/emoticons/ 

Are the suppliers just inflating the prices and keeping the same price as it was when there was a shortage?

It's a global shortage. There have been supply chain issues for quite a while, and China has also become stricter with their export requirements and customs inspections.

I’ve heard there’s still a shortage, but I still get the feeling some suppliers are just keeping the shortage prices even though supply seems better now. Can’t blame them though, it’s more profitable for them...

I agree with MA.

Competition will always drive prices back lower again if there's enough supply to meet demand. Sometimes supply is deliberately constrained, and that is more the "feeling" I sometimes get. If they can do it with oil, they will most certainly do it with pharmaceuticals as well.

Another issue is demand is higher than supply, been a major shift of raw materials coming from other countries, india, the eu, even Mexico, they do not have production capacity of what china did.

So they can only produce smaller batches untill things come online.

I did hear that some of the chinese labs have basically set up shop in other countries to kick start manufacturing,as its now outlawed in china, and then are shipping to a centralized hub in another country and then it goes for distribution from there to other countries.

It may take another year before they are back up and running.
