Hey guys.

I've been looking up about the side effects of taking Clen and nowhere does it mention itchiness.

Every time I up my dose in 25mcg increments, I flush and itch like crazy. It feels as though I have chicken pox all over again.

Has anyone who's used Clen had this side effect or know of it.

Thanx guys!

Hmm I know of another girl in the west JHB area that gets the same.

But I think she got it from HEAT .

If I see her again I will ask her what she did to stop the itching..

[edit found this]

"Histamine is the chemical in the body that causes the symptoms of an allergic (hypersensitivity) reaction. These can include inflammation of the skin, airways or tissues, rashes, itching and of the skin, eyes or nose, nasal congestion and narrowing of the airways. By blocking the actions of histamine, ketotifen may prevent and relieve the narrowing of the airways that occurs in asthma due to allergies."

@ Michael and Jo1.

I shower twice a day because I gym twice a day and yes I dry myself properly not that its of any business to you!

@ acidkidsa, thanx.
Anyways I am taking ketotifen(zetofen)as well yet still having an allergic reaction...the itching doesn't last long but this morning it happened about a minute after taking Clen and lava but its not the ECA in the Lava cos I haven't reacted to ECA before. Please let me know when you hear anything, thanx again

Hey Beesting, almost everyone I know whos on ECA have the same thing, flushing warm feeling, itchiness, Im thinking its the effects of the Ephedra and since Clen acts onthe beta receptors too, so just the beta receptors reaction. Some of them even like the feeling now haha!! obviously its not as intense the second or third time round as your receptor downgrade kicks in but you are on zetofen so no problem there, but as you up the dosage you will see it levels out, it seems normal to me as ive seen all the people on eca have a similar reaction, so nothing to worry about. Haha!! some nosh told them its the ephedra eating the fat away under the skin!!! haha!!

There is one thing I have noticed, people with blood type O get the reaction really bad, as they already have a problem with thin blood and the asperin in the ECA makes it worse, O are also most likely to be allergic to asperin. So beesting Im guessing your blood type is O maybe. Just basing this on the fact that clen and ephedra act on the same receptors. Something with Blood type O receptors maybe, just observation.

Yep blood type O. Intersting esp cos I'm a molecular biologist so will look into it.

Thanks Ziazias

But listen, its not serious and is a normal reaction as I get the same reaction and 10 people I know for sure get it too of various blood types, provided they take it on an empty stomach and excluding O as they react more severly so its not just you and 3 of them are using lava and the others atomic, reaction differs a bit but mostly the same. I must say I didnt have the reaction when i took Heat though.

ya its a normal reaction. i get it on lava and so do some guys i know. Dunno bout neat clen tho. I got it like 2 or 3 times out of a whole bottle of lava. Was when i took it on an empty stomach. Also drink lots of water before and after you take it. And maybe get some alergex or an anti histamine and that should help with the reaction....

It's the nicotinic acid in the Lava that gives you the red itch. Wait untill you tried Tridenosen....one good thing about it is that it's a instant cure for winters hands and feet. You can over a period of time with continious use build a bit of a resistance to it.

I have cat allergies and they never get any better man!!! So thats why im thinking its a receptor issue and as your receptors downgrade to an extent you dont get the reaction anymore, dont think any kind of anti-hystamine will work at all, lava has 20mcg's of clen per cap. Ive never got the reaction from clen though, beesting is blood type O and ive seen O's react really bad to lava, they get the reaction x 10!! But is not as bad 3rd and 4th time round. O are meat eaters and their muscle tissue functions better when slightly acidic, ephedra and clen act on the beta receptors and maybe due to O's more acidic environment has a stronger reaction. This is really interesting and since Beesting is a Molecular Biologist!!! ( wich is awsome by the way!!, bet shes smoking hot too!!! hehe!) Im sure she will get to the bottom of it.

It appears the Man on Juice is correct on this one. Clinical doses of Vitamin B3 do produce the itchy red flushes... What amazes me is how quickly it sets in. I've built up my tolerance to ephedrine a bit and experimented with a lava cap, wasn't five minutes later my face, chest, arms and kness all flushed up and started itching like crazy. Thats a really quick reaction! Lasts for about fifteen mins then goes away.
