I would rather drop the Milk thistle and have 2 Essential Extremes or 4 Liver Sentials a day. Like am pm or breakfast and dinner.

You should be fine as you are taking Omega you do not mention how much a day though?

Just avoid simple carbs like any breads cookies or baked goods and sugar. Don't drink juice alcohol or cool drink. The odd glass of Tab or Sprite Zero doesn't hurt. And get in Cardio that should keep Cholesterol in check.

But if you are really concerned about cholesterol have it tested pre cycle and post cycle so that you know where to return to.

For the record Winstrol and other orals are much harsher on cholesterol and liver than Anavar and Proviron.

Reason why I say don't use Milk Thistle on cycle. There are studies on ncbi on the subjects discussed below.

It is said and believed that Milk Thistle reduces IGF1 and we all know less IGF1 = less strength and less lean muscle gains.

One of the reasons Orals are so potent are because when taking them causes the liver to excrecte/produce more IGF1 so taking Milk Thistle with it is counter productive and also reduces Androgen Receptor Binding and Trans activation.

You guys can Google it. There is also a lengthy article on this by Anthony Roberts although not many trust or value his opinion.

Protein in to high, carbs are to low. Also what is your bodyfat, it must be extremely low for those calories and wanting to lose weight. Maybe Empire can advise.

Thanks pump, would you recommend dropping the protein by 50g or so? And then adding another 50-100g of carbs?

My body fat is 16%

Are you saying my calories are too low or too high? I am aiming to get to 73kgs and be 8% body fat before the end of November.

I train 7 days a week, not always weights though, I will do cardio or HIIT training during the weekends. I should be leaner but my diet hasn't been consistent.
I have used a diet very similar to this and got myself to 7% body fat naturally only using whey as a supplement but I lost a lot of muscle mass, strength and suffered a shoulder injury. I have been rehabbing the shoulder for a few months now and am back on track.
My previous diet was run with too little protein, carbs and fat.

Too be honest pump, I am not sure. I really love training. I never repeat a muscle group in a 7 day period.
I work on my feet for 9 hours a day monday to Friday as well.

Hi Mastermuzz.

if you are on your feet 9 hours a day, i would say that your calories could be on the low side but from what i see here, i think your protein content is quite high and your carb content is quite low, remember that if your body needs carbs it can convert protein into carbs through glucogenisis, which will only convert 50% of the protein to glucose, so for example if you are taking in 100g of protein you will convert to 50g of carbs, now i personally thing thats an expensive way to get carbs in.

for you i would say drop your protein down to 160g a day and then add in 50g of carbs from complex carb sources. now not every one is the same in this view, but i dont count the carbs in vegitables, as it takes more calories to burn through the veg than the veg contains, but this is a personal preference i use with my clients. so i would work your carbs out to 120g from carb sources alone excl veg. so when i say carb sources i am say potatoes, oats, sweet potato, rice, beans (like black beans) etc. so if you were to change things up like i would suggest, i would do 4 meals of carbs at 30g per meal. so i would do 2 of your carb meals pre and post work out, so 30g pre work out from complex carbs, and then 30g post work out from fast acting carbs such as jelly babies or kids cereal.

reason for having the simple carbs post work out is the typical insulin response from eating refined sugars.

i hope this helps.

i have been working with Pump for a couple weeks now, hence why he had tagged me in this post. thanks for the mention pump.

have a great day guys.

Wow. Empire thank you so much for the help, you have no idea how grateful I am for the advice and guidance I'm getting from you and the guys on this forum.

Taking your advice for sure.

I will drop the morning protein shake in my oats, drop two egg whites and keep my midday meal to 100g lean chicken breast. ( this totals at a 45.2g drop in protein making my overall daily intake 161.9g excluding protein from veg etc)

Then as you suggested I will add 30g complex carbs to my midday meal. Drop the meal 4 carbs to 30g as well. Drop the oats to a 30g serving and have 30g refined carb post workout. Totaling at 120g carbs per day.

I have a question - my pre workout meal (Meal 4)is eaten at 3 in the afternoon and I train at 5:30... should I move that Meal closer to my training time for better energy or do you think my timing is okay?

Hi Muze and Empire.

I just want to say I am also on a cut. I started implementing some of the advice Empire gave gou into my own cutting diet but fine tuned with my Macros and I must say I am noticing results in the first week. Midsection tightening up and energy during the day and in the gym is much better. Training and Cardio is passed and strict. Thank you Empire. Muze sorry for the hijack

No problem rooibull! Thanks for the feedback, I must say I am noticing similar results in the first week as well. Striations in my shoulders when flexing too.

Thanks again empire!

I got some.

Dropped 2kg this week. Muscles are stil nice full and round. Strength still up in the gym energy not so much. Arms are leaning out and getting vascular even at rest. Also starting to notice striations on shoulders and chest when warm and pumped.

Not on anything at the moment and won't be for the whole next month. Looking to cycle 2nd October again

I've dropped from 78kgs to 76kg so things are going very well considering I'm just into week two. I think a lot was water weight.

I must agree with rooi in that my energy isn't too great any more.

Empire do you think that I could find more energy if I added more Calories from carbs? I think you were definitely right about my calories being too low

In any dieting phase your energy is going to take a dip after about 3-4days of being into a defecit and running on reserve body fat. You can do 1 of 2 things. 1 is add in a stimulant based fat burner or have a refeed, the usual low to high carb days is 3/1 or depending how you quick you want to diet down, 6/1. I would even go as to say doubling your carbs for 1 day will boost energy ans still keep things going, obviously you will have days that weight will go up from replenished glycogen storesn but that will disapate quickly after a refeed/high carb day.

I think my body will do well with some burners and the 3/1 option because I have a physically demanding job, on my feet all day etc.
don't know if it'll be necessary for me to add fat burners if I'm on Var?
But I don't know if adding fat by
