High Ferratine (Iron Storage) Levels was created by Vanman
Hi All,

I have been in TRT at 150mg Test Cyp per week from 2017
age 47
Train 6 times a week moderate.

I donated blood for the first time last week.
Blood people send me a sms that my Ferratine levels are high 1635 UG/L normal is 400UG/L

is it normal for Ferratine levels to rise while on TRT? Should i just try to donate blood every 60 days to bring red blood cells down?

Any advise will be appreciated.

Nope you probably find you need to improve sleep quality, and do some cardio 10mins hiit cardio followed by 20mins of liss cardio 3x a week.

Also remove red meat from your diet and add in an iron chelator like alpha lipolic acid. Also ip6 is a good addition.

And yes donating every 6 weeks.

Surprised your iron was in acceptable levels for them to let you donate.

Iron was 18.

Must not be lower than 15 apparently.

I guess Iron was not to high?

Ferratine is high though.

18 is a rookie number, lol.

Keep donating every 8 weeks and you'll be fine.

Admin,

What is your take on my Farretin level?

1657mg/ul

Will donating blood lower my Ferritine level?

I am abit concerned about that level.

Admin recommended that you donate blood. That's what you should do. It will lower hemoglobin, hematocrit, and ferritin.
