BSSA vs Dymatize VS BSN was created by Lee337
Hello0o0o,

I'm stuck with which whey protein to choose..
BSSA - Whey Protein Concentrate Unflavored 1kg (Netherlands) : R 592 (492.00 + R100 delivery, also excluding flavourings) for 2kg
Dymatize Elite Fusion: R680 for 2.2kg
Dymatize Elite XT: R790 for 2.2kg
BSN - Syntha 6 R800 for 2.2kg

What are the main differences between these and price vs product quality ratio?

Thanks!

Lee - I'm no expert - but don't focus to much on the quantities, focus on the protein amount per serving and total servings per product.

That's what I do at least.

Whey is whey bud...

Sure some of the american stuff is good, but i can guarentee your gonna waist alot of money buying it..

find a decent local brand (iv just bought 2kg nutritec whey for 399) and use it.

Unless your a top level athlete, you will prob not notice any difference

have a look at supplementreviews.com. They rate almost all the proteins in the world. You will see the Dymatize Elite fusion gets very good ratings. But as the other guys said, protein content per serving is a very important consideration. If your going to buy to a local brand, maybe give SSN a try

I confer with Tank. If you going local I would go with ssn/muscle junkie. Mari,o even though being the CEO,he is always ready to answer any questions and offers great customer interaction. And the whey they use is Glanbia raw material which is the same as optimum nutrition. You won't go wrong

I'm not a fan of SSN at all. As soon as you open that lid you no it's mostly concentrate because of the smell. Plus I'm not a fan of the taste.
I've just picked up a load of ON and trust me it doesn't have the shit smell or taste of SSN

ON is its own class, by far my go to brand of protein!

How is it Rhino? Just damaged packaging?

When it hurts... That's when i start counting, because that's when it starts to count.

Afternoon gents,

I usually SSN, I'm keen to give nutritech a go at that price. My Dischem doesn't stock it. Where is it easily available in pta?

He didn't have any damaged packages but he did give me some at basically half price B) so I've got the Hydro and the gold standard each for slightly cheaper than Nutritech.
I think he was just doing me a favor because I went out to Rivonia but said he'll give me a buzz when he gets more damaged goods.

Go big or go home...

Been using nutritech for some time now and always happy, and the whey is on special at my local pharma in tygervalley, R550 for the 3,2kg (100servings). So I bought a tub all 7 flavours. Am now stocked up till 2016

The 3.2kg is R600 at my local extream nutrition.

When I checked the expiry date now on my stash, I saw that some of the tubs is the older nutritech of 24g protein per serving(106 serving per tub),and the other flavours are the new 23g protein iso tested (100 servings) tubs, but all of them expire 2016 only.
