Injectable Carnitine was created by Morrgear

Anyone tried injectable L-carnitine? There has been a lot of talk on US bodybuilding podcasts about it's effectiveness at burning fat and improving muscle endurance due to it's impact on glucose uptake into muscle? I have managed to order some from Australia as I can't seem to find any here - other than the usual oral brands in liquid form that I wouldn't inject.

Haha. Great minds think alike here. I also ordered some from that xxxx site. Only bitch is the shipping it horrid.

Morrgear are you going to be loading yours with insulin like suggested?

And not to be throwing out insulin information willy nilly, you only need 2-3iu of insulin with your carnatine to load the muscle. It takes about 2 weeks for the carnatine to reach peak levels with 2iu.

Pity we didn't ship together to bring costs down. Maybe next time. I am in 2 minds about the insulin - I believe it works without , clearly not as effectively but am pretty scared of insulin. You going the insulin route? Have you used insulin before?

Oupa, i didnt break any rules by listing aus as an abriviation for australia. Just to let you know, wasnt adverting.

Yes i will be going the insulin route. Yes i have used insulin before, but 2iu with your pre work out carb meal will be more than enough to keep prevent hypoglycaemic effect. And with the bcaas in your work out water that will also help with hypoglycaemia.

Ok well i am a week in. Loading my carnatine with 2iu of insulin, using nova rapid. Taking 2iu then 15minutes later 400mg of injectable carnatine into the delt.

I am happy to say already on my second leg session of last week my endurance kinda peaked a bit more than usual, i usually flatten out on leg press at about 15 reps but managed to push through to 23 reps with the same weight i usually do. Also found that lunges were a little easier too. No change in diet or cardio and weight was down 800g in a week. So far so good.

Morrgear hows your results been so far on it? I have been loving it!!! I haven't changed diet at all and haven't changed cardio and i am down 9kgs and my strength and endurance is through the roof!!! Also see my supplier has now got it locally so no heavy shipping woo hoo!

Hi ya Steve C, I am on a bulking phase at the moment so weight is up but on a 1000cal a day surplus I have stopped gaining weight but am gaining size and strength. It's definitely a great addition to a cycle. I am interested to see the effect when I start to cut.
