After a very long wait, Pure Performance Supplements has launched its online store, and its open for Business!

For all of you that followed the previous thread (Reputable raw supplement suppliers), you would know that I worked together with Admin, to make this happen. (thanks again to Admin)

I plan to provide a better service and a better product than the competitors. In future the plan is to keep a wider variety, so please let me know what you guys would like me to stock. Also any comments on the website (this was my first attempt ever in doing something like this!)

I tried my best to keep the prices as low as possible, but you also get what you pay for and this is high quality products sourced from Europe.

I will keep you all updated on this thread.

Am I missing something, I don't see how much powder you purchase. Is it 1kg for the protein power, 2kg, 20?

Whey Protein - Carb and Fat Content? Any info on what kind of Carbs and Fat, Dextrose, Maltose, EFA? Do you add sugars for taste?

The Carb and Fat content is listed on the website. When you go to the store and "click" on Whey it should take you there. Let me know if it does not.

Just for interest sake. Every batch comes with a lab certificate. The current batch of whey contains 81g of protein per 100g.

The Clover Whey Concentrate I used to sell in 20kg bags where 80% as well.

Thanks GuineaPig. There are a lot of Whey protein concentrate products that come in 80%. I actually have three different sources that all provide a whey concentrate at 80%.

If your still skeptical, I can post a copy of the Independent Lab Certificate.

Why dont you post the lab certificate anyway, so that members can see that its legit before ordering anyway ?

I don't understand why people are so worried about 2 to 5 grams of protein per 100 grams, makes no difference what so ever.

Going to sound cynical and cocky, but consider the possibility that retail WPC are "watered down" slightly by flavourants and emulsifiers.

That's true as well. Even adding a small number of flavoring and sweeteners will lower the protein percentage.

When buying known products on the market, all of them avarage at 24gP per 100kg or less, and we all know that's not what we getting, and isolate ave at 40gP per 100kg ....so is PPS saying that theirs is 40gP more then on the market ?

Also I dont see any flavour choices, so I presume its vanilla ??

These are unflavored, Pure Protein. No Fillers, colorants, sweeteners, nothing but protein.

You could say: Protein flavoured protein

Next question would probably be, how does it taste? The Taste is really not that bad, milk like taste. I either mix a spoon of coffee / vanilla essence / whatever to flavor it. Or mix it in a blender with some crushed ice, peanut butter and a banana. Depends on how much time I have.

The Casein, that is not as pleaseant tasting. Not supper bad, but not as nice as whey. I usually mixe it with my whey at around 70 whey to 30 casein.

This is not USN, etc. You are not going to get fancy packaging, nor a free scoop (sorry). All the products are unflavored. I started buying these for myself, because I was tired of spending money on products, that contain everything, except what it should contain. You really cant compare it to anything that is currently on the selves, as those will contain a bunch of other ingredients (including false claims on the nutrition content as per Univ of Pretoria tests).

All these products have n minimum order quantity, (20kg / 25kg / 50kg depending on supplier), so I end up with a massive amount of stock at home. For instance, how long will it take me to go through 20kg (min order) of mono creatine using 5g a day. I thought that I will sell some of it. I am only marketing to this forum.

Agree with PPS, most supps add too much stuff we don't want.

I remember when I had a hook up at warren chem, was also 80% protein in the whey concentrate and it was unflavoured.

To add to PPS's description of the product. This is the actual protein powder which the well known brands get before adding their own flavour and fillers

No. You must be comparing either the serving size protein content (Eg: 30g powder yields 24g protein)
or 100g of a mass gainer (Eg: 100g powder yields 20g protein, 60g carbs)
A WPI should be about upwards of 80%
