Hey guys....I just purchased supplements SA glutamine. Now...I don't ever recall glutamine being sweet, however this is sweet like glucose...not sure if I am going nuts or these guys actually put glucose in tub and selling as glutamine...

I did query with store I purchased from, they sent me a reply from supplements sa, saying that the glutamine is legit and is sweet! It's from the source they got from and taste differs from source to source....

Last time I used their glutamine was in 2017, it was pretty bitter and had a weird smell. They must have changed something then, because it really was kak bitter.

Yes, that's how I recall glutamine being, not very pleasant. This is like having glucose. There must be some test on this? Anybody can vouch for glutamine being sweet?

Never had it sweet, but I'm sure it could be. What does it say the carb content is?

It says 100% glutamine on the label. So right there you know it is false advertising it is has a prominently sweet taste. Maybe a very slight sweetness I'd say would be ok but hardly noticeable. If they add a sweetener to it to make it taste more pleasant then it's not 100% glutamine. It's glutamine plus sweetener.

is LEGIT glutamine BUT is definitely sweet!

- By nature Glutamine has a sweet undertone, with different LABS you will get variances in the product.

- I can send COA’s etc

BUT guarantee our facility only uses 100% Pharma Grade ingredients

That was the response I got back. Will check the label when I get home...but it's basically your standard supplements SA glutamine, advertised on a few sites...

Raw glutamine is definitely not sweet. It has this gluggy powdery taste.
