USN Pure Protein Bars?

All the flack about USN products on these forums has me worried; anyone have any idea how reliable the labelling on USN's protein bars is? Is there really 25g whey protein in it or is it all just sugar?

Can anyone suggest a non-liquid quick fix protein alternative?

I think to a certain degree they can be trusted.... A company that big it would be to risky to lie... I know the guys like knocking them but saw Milktuds tested one of their products and it came out 100%

Haven't used their protein bars so not sure what ingredient lists are except for that but if they say 25g whey it should be right...

yes it is full of sugar bro...USN is Ultimate Shit Nutrition, they dont use that name for nothing.

Honestly, I would never use their stuff, they use low grade protein sources (the stuff they feed cattle) full of sugar. In the States they were taken to task with the FDA and lost because of false advertising...that was a while back, things might have changed, but where there is smoke there is fire.

USN = Biogen = CRAP

Stick with good ol' Optimum Nutrition and make your own Protein Bars with Oats, Cinnamon, Xylitol and Whey (ON Whey that is)

There are a million recipes on Google...

Bought one once......fuckin expensive......gave me toothache(sugar). Much rather buy a PVM energy bar at 25% of the USN protein bar price.

yip u can just as well buy any fuking bar, coz the usn protien bar has juz as much sugar in it!!

I aggree, making your own, in which way you can be sure you know what you getting, is prob the best...

Haven't ever used these bars so haven't checked the ingredients, but I think you will find the sugar thing to be true with a lot of MRPs and other supplements as well...

I have tried them a few times. Way to sweet for me and the price is stupid.

USN is crap, etc, etc...... BUT i like them bars! I struggle not to buy them. If it wasn't for my personal USN boycot i would certainly indulge.

coz they like to let guys juz starting out training to belive their supps is the one and only, back then the ingredients where fuket with, and they fuk me out a lot of money when i was starting out and stupit, they then also where a new company, advertising big, and big bullshit, so fuk them.

ps, they made it to the uk, but not to the states, ha ha fuckers.

Ive been making my own cell tech, muscle milk, nitrotech bars and even gakic, leukic and cellmass for the past few months..

Will never spend a cent on supplements, especially protein bars. they taste like crap and are expensive as hell..

By the way, USN is kak. Anything from them is a waste of time, money and training..

i dont make it to sell, i use it for my own consumption...im not marketing my stuff to say that its brillaint all im saying is that supplement companies be it USN or muscletech charge us massive amounts of money for supplements which are dirt cheap for them to produce...

For example..a tub of muscletech leukic costs about 700 bucks a pop when all one needs to do is supplement with L-Leucine to get its effect...

Merely creatine monohydrate mixed with some maltodrexin and a flavourant....cost 850 through muslce tech, i pay about 200 bucks in total and it does the same job...

I wasn`t sure of USN til i saw this...I see no reason to dispute the quality of their products....

I agrea totatly... A forum is best kept objective... If you have morale issues for not buying from a company, that's cool don't buy from them and let others know why its a bad idea to buy from them. All companies are ripping you off, if one is doing it more than the other let us know....

Just saying a product is crap without elaborating on what they are putting in it, that's just silly. At least with analysing the ingredients we have a benchmark for other products.

If they are putting mostly sugar in it, then yeah its bad, but someone post the ingredients and lets see....

I have a problem with the product and the owner, a speedcop that imitated US sups to become a millionaire. And yes maybe there is a little bit of jealousy sticking it's head out here, but fuck them in any case. I helped him to reach his status in life by purchasing loads of shit when I was younger, which helped me fuckall. I have on more than one occasion in Dischem convinced people with USN products in their hands and on their way to the paypoint to exchange the USN for other products. :evil:
