Hi Guys

Any of u know what supplements are Halal and where I can get them. I'm looking for a Whey Protein that is definitely Halal and is certified as all the SA based products I come across are not (or are they?).

Secondly I have sent a pm to Admin asking if the HEAT fat burner capsules (red bottle with grey cap) are made of Bovine Gelatin as that would classify them un-Halal.

Bud whey is derived from milk,so isn't all milk halal? Isn't it meat that needs to be halal? Isn't being halal mean the animal that is slaughtered in a clean and humaine way as well as havibg the meat blessed? Sorry if I am ignorant on this front,many of my muslim mates use ssn whey with out iSsues.

Jakes this is uncalled for bro, this is his religion,there is nothing wrong with being cautious of what u taken for a religious reason,there is no reason for telling him he needs to have a tissue for his issue. Rather not make comments like this at all when people are trying to live their lives with their religion close to their heart.

Almost all whey would be halaal cos its derived from milk. So i doubt you will have an issue there. The only issue i forsee is with capsules that are gelatine based.

Ya avoid any capsules bud, im pretty sure there all made from gelatine

No steroid will be halal. Steroids are haraam (bad), at the centre of the religion is of course Allah and he wont want you playing around with his work. Im not Muslim so someone correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure im right on this one.

The bigger issue is that Benzyl Alcohol is used to dissolve the steroid into the oil, I would think. Most of the LP liquids are carried in ethanol too.

steroids aren't haraam.

I think the alcohol used in steroids and used by guys that drink are different. Medicinal alcohol is not haraam to my understanding. As for steroids itself, well if you abuse it and are doing damage to your body then it becomes haraam. But building your body, making it stronger is a good thing, problem is in most cases it causes pride...So its not a good mental thing cos you ought to aim to be humble if you wanna follow islam correctly. I certainly and a massive sinner so i cant judge any1 nor should any1 for that matter as only god is the judge! I hope that the capsules i have been using from lp are halaal. I failed in my duty of finding out!

Tik and heroin aren't mentioned in the Quran but they are still haraam due to their intoxicating nature, anything which alters your state of mind and will prevent you from praying properly ,or behaving as a decent muslim should, is haraam. The alcohol found in oils will not intoxicate you and thus is not haraam. The psychological effects tren can cause however may make it haraam.

Bodybuilding (wearing a thong on stage) on the other hand is debatable depending on how you interpret "the area between your navel and knees" as this is defined as the male private parts in the Quran, and must be covered at all times.

when i wanted to get at you for the not competing thing but taking steroids i did a bit of research on it... Apparently they are haraam if you are not using them for medical purposes.. Whip out that thong boy, or are double standards kosher?

look i am a muslim and have been 4 over 15 years, had same issues with supps asked many an aalim and they gave me similar answers, 1- look up what the supps r made of and if the r no haraam ingrediants go ahead use it, 2- if in doubt take it up with a knowledgable expert on the subject, 3- when it comes to substance abuse thats haraam but there is no definitive ruling on juice, anyway u need 2 understand the difference btween halaal n haraam then all is easy, alot of supps out there r clean

the brutality of war, never changes, and the out of control desire to win, makes everything dangerous.

Because life does not have absolute answers! Thats the thing, free will and choice to make our own decisions and bear the consequences thereof! Things are so messed up, i mean the guys that suppose to be checking that the meat we eat are halaal are letting pork pass thru with halaal stamps and we the consumers just buy whatever as long as it has the halaal sign on it. (orion meats, was on 3rd degree)

and the end of the day the only way to be truely sure of having everything halaal is to do it all yourself, slaughter your own animals! How many of us can actually do that? But in that way not only do we make sure the meat is halaal but also that we getting good meat with out chemicals and water and so forth injected in them to keep colour and shape! As for steriods....I think deadgoat is spot on with his post!
