The stupid supplier that sold it to them should have his teeth kicked out.

Reality is this will never go away. There will always be boys wanting gear and always be greedy inconsiderate suppliers who supply them.
But it's bullshit as it causes problems for the entire fitness and BB industry

The rugby boytjies from my school days were also using juice, I still think they were idiots and can remember how clueless they were.

Problem is that it's out of control these days and I'm expecting allot more pressure from law enforcement and that will only make things harder for the bodybuilding community.

There is a supplier in my area advising and selling to kids...
First Firstly he is clueless, giving them clen and dianabol only cycles. Then it's horrible brands and under dosed rubbish.

My question then is, how to deal with this quietly so it doesn't hurt the sport?

When it hurts... That's when i start counting, because that's when it starts to count.

Steriod use is common in the larger sport schools. Probably caused by the high expectations.

Hahaha! Anyway its dangerous and stupid yes. They have no idea what they're getting themselves into. I knew a kid when I was in school who took 6 dbol tabs at once before gym. He never used pct or liver protection. Its just too dangerous for kids

Sad story this.

Kids don't understand the life changing effects even one-time use could have on them.

I remember when I was in university a guy (dealer with more muscle than brains) tried to sell me Dbol.

"bra, jy sal optel. Sit net twee onder jou tong voor gym en jys reg"

I mean holy shit. No test, no PCT, etc. Also, one thing he sworn by was "Jy kan drink, solank dit wit drank is"

Now that's the type of guy that'll sell to a Grade 11 kid.

Elkgeval as jy nie soustrein ry nie hoe wil jy rugby jol as die ander span se ouens 20kg meer weeg elk van die juice. Jy sal f.kt.p gehardloop word. ONCE!

Leker lag ek nou toe ek dit lees.

Anyway it's not just that the kids want to get on the juice but some rugby coaches will actually get involved aswell.

I have a step brother who also recently used testosterone to pick up weight for rugby. With the pressure on kids these days its bound to happen.

The reality is that Rugby is a potential career with high returns. And I'm not even talking about playing Boks. Guys can play club rugby in Europe and make a kak load of money (IMHO any youngster that stays in SA to pursue a career in any sport is stupid given that talent isn't the only competitive edge anymore)

A few years back I was approached by a youngster who was to be draughted into a provincial structure in U21 level (I won't name the union because they got a hiding from the Cheetahs, oh crap, did I say that out loud...)

This okey was basically told that he will only sign contract in 8 months. This is because he needed to bulk up a bit and was given all the stuff he needed to take and would only be tested once he was "signed" on. This was monitored and structured by the medical personnel.

To compete in any sport at elite level you have to take PED's. Anyone who says they're clean is lying and are managed so that they won't test positive.

Good judgement comes from experience.
Experience comes from bad judgement.

Hahaha.

But that is the problem right there. Everyone thinks "Steroids" and conveniently forget about eg GH, EPO.

I've actually met guys who think it's OK to use GH for recovery because it isn't Steroids and doesn't improve performance (much).

Just look at the Last UFC. Both main card fighter batted for illegals. Silva for Roids and Diaz (on purpose I think to give the UFC the finger) for dagga.

I am without any doubt support the responsible use of steroids by adults in pursuit of their goals; however stories such the above a sad. The fact is that these kids got caught I would say that there are far many more school aged kids using gear than many of us are aware of.

It is by no means a new trend but of course it is worry and poses issues for those of us who are free thinking and responsible in our use because now we get thrown in the similar category as "drug users". I would hate for SA to usher in similar laws that are applicable in the US.
