Get to a gym, start on the circuit for about 2 – 3 weeks. Do some research. Keep it natural for a while (at least one year). Weigh your calories if you wana loose the beer (coke) belly (research needed on diet see following link for guide: www.anabolicsteroids.co.za/forum/10-diet...on/56925-dieting-101 ). Later on if you feel you want to do a cycle after ALLOT of research and you understand the pros and cons of steroids and understand what proper PCT (post cycle therapy) is then only go for your first steroid cycle.

Hope this helps somehow. You will need allot of discipline. This is not just something you do part time. It is a life style that you will need to follow inside and outside of the gym. Proper training, proper diet, proper supplements and proper sleep are key to obtaining your goals. But if you are determined enough there are great rewards to be achieved, but don’t expect to have a complete transformation over night. It takes allot of time, even on gear.

i was were you are now 2 years back.weight was +/-108kg for a guy who was only 1.69m then wore a 46 jean. just get into the gym groove before you really start pushing yourself(see a lot of people starting with a bang and then they are too sore to train and are discouraged.).I started with my diet first.threw the whole thing out the window and made a new one.i started doing circuit training 3-4 days a week for 3 weeks also did that running(more walking than running ;) ) up and down the stairs between each excercise.then i started doing ciruit 5 days a week with 3 days cardio.and i just built it up from their to 5 days circuit + 5days cardio.eventually when i lost most of my weight i started doing weights and well never looked back.but diet is the number one thing that must change.best decision of my life...

Good luck bro

No problem bud, welcome to the forum and good luck. I can tell you, it is nice when your girl says you have a nice body. You don't realise it yourself as you go along as it takes a long time and you see your body every day and don't notice the changes but as time passes other people start commenting on your new physique and it really feels good and makes it worth your while.

Once again, good luck and keep it up; you will get there if you persevere! ;) It is indeed a journey of 1000 miles but once you make it a lifestyle it all starts to just feel part of your everyday life.

Stay motivated, keep on chatting with the guys on this forum, it definitely helps. Ask questions when you’re not sure about something. I am no expert myself and am still learning every day. There is a wealth of information on this site and the guys are very helpful.

Hi RyanS, welcome to the forum bud. AvR and VonD have pretty much summed it up. It all comes down to a lifestyle change. Get yourself a well structured eating plan and training routine first, leave any chemical aids like AAS or fatburners for now and only consider it when your body is used to exercise and you have reduced bodyfat%. It is also very unwise to take any form of androgenic steroids at a high bodyfat% as your body will aleady have higher than normal estrogen levels and AAS will just amplify this and you can actually end up adding more fat. Cardio will also be very important and I would suggest 20min moderate intensity cardio 4-5 times a week supplemented with a healthy diet and weight training program.

Goodluck, and congrats on taking the first step which is doing research.

welcome to the site, you have no doubt found it very informative and will continue to learn on a daily basis. Congrats for making this awesome life changing decision. You won't regret doing this. You must just keep at it and you will get the results you desire. I have been gyming about over three years now but until I joined this website I knew nothing about eating correctly. We all had to start somewhere, it's just making that decision to do it and you've done that, well done. Keep us posted on how you're doing and when you're feeling unmotivated let us know, we'll back you up ;)

Thank you to everyone for your replies. Nice people that hangs out here.
I gave it some thought to the advice here. It will be the first time that I go on a diet, and allot of words (lingo) used here I dont understnad yet, eg. AAS and so.. But as time pass it will start to make sense. I did gather that I should look at foods like chicken, tuna, tomato, green beans and eggs. So this is what i will eat from now on, and obviously no fizzy drinks. I also thought to take a few photos (the BEFORE and AFTER thing) so that I can be encouraged and also the next guy like me can one day look at it.

I just want to thank all of you again for the advice and also for welcoming me here. You have no idea how much i appreciate it.

Have a great weekend guys!
Ryan.

Goodluck on your transformation Ryan. A before and after photo thread will be a good idea to document your progress and inspire others. It will also give a easy two way communication with us to help you and give any advise.

BTW, AAS = Anabolic & Androgenic Steroids (BTW = By the way) :)

So I went this morning and bought some food stuffs. I have to say trying to eat the right kind of foods can be quite an expensive excercise, e.g. a bottle of Olive Oil almost R70 (though my wife say you don't need to use allot when frying something) Got some brown rice, fat free milk, fat free yogurt, Muesli, Chicken breast, Oats etc.

We have now for the first time a kitchen SCALE in our house......................

Also bought GI Lean Milkshakes (Hunger Buster) at Clicks, does anyone know if it works? Guess I'll see for myself...

The journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step...

This is what I plan:

08h00: Muesli and Yogurt
11h00: Shake
14:00: Can Tuna (120g) without Brine water + 1 Cup Brown Rice + 2 Baby Tomato
17:00: Chicken breast (150g) + 1 cooked potato
20:00: Raw Veggies Snack (Carrots, Beans, etc, 150g)
23:00: Shake (because I have a bad habbit of waking up and raiding the fridge!)

Potato will alternate with sweet potato
Muesli and Yogurt will alternate with Oats

I'm not too sure regarding that diet but will rather wait for DJ to comment on it. You can also get a diet from DJ, extremely good results which you will not regret, he does charge but well worth it in my, and many others' opinion. The biggest part of getting your body the way you want it to look is through a good and proper diet.

Hello Mike,

Thank you for your comment. Like I said, I am new to this. I will see what DJ say, and I contacted the admin to get in touch with him.

Have a nice Sunday afternoon.

Ps. Something I was wondering about, perhaps you can answer? Say when people are having a 'braai' or a nice "Potjie" or go to a leka resaurant - how do you guys handle not eating all those yummy things?

He is not joking, my new diet I am stuffed. The weekend cheat meal is really a motivator though ;)

RyanS well done on your decision to change your lifestyle, your diet posted is definitely not gonna help, too little protein, carbs are from the wrong sources. Your best bet is as everyone has suggested, DJ will guide you through the right way to start this journey.
