New Zealand vs France

Hi guys do you you think France stands a change to win the final
or will it be a easy victory for the All Blacks?

France always stand a chance against any team. That's what makes them so damn unpredictable and dangerous. They could come out and have the best game of their lives in the final. What ever happens, a France vs NZ match at a RWC is damn exciting. And we just know how the AB's love to face them at a WC... Realistically though France don't deserve to be at the final....

But....

I do think it will be a comfortable victory for the AB's by 12 to 15 points at least.

France always have a chance against the ABs, but the question is have they already had their performance of the tournament in the game against England. They have a very good forward pack who can scrum well, and with Dusatoire and Bonairre they have 2 fetchers who can hopefully neutralise McCaw. Even though they got spanked I still think they played well against the ABs in the 1st half of the group match, only difference was that the ABs scored points when they had a chance.

They HAVE to drop Parra and bring in Trin-Duhc at 10, coz this two 9s in one team thing isn't working for them. Most importantly they have to change tactics, if they kick the ball like they did against Wales on Saturday The ABs back 3 will tear them to shreds, and they have to improve their own performances under the high ball for them to have a chance.

ABs still have too much for the french at Eden Park and will probably win by 20

France have 0 chance, they shouldn't have beaten whales, 14 men, and they still nearly lost.. France are weak this year, forget history, we don't live in it... The All Blacks will not get beaten, fact.

Well France are a very inconsistent team and aren't capable of playing well 2 weeks in a row. Considering they played well against England and poorly against Wales, whose to say they wont turn it on against the ABs with everyone writing them off like they did against England?

Because England played terribly, France never won that game, England lost it.. And trust me the AB are not on the same level with England or France or even AU for that matter, we where the only team that could have put up a fight against them, they going to win this cup and they deserve it, they the best team in the world, they have always been labeled it for years now, its time for them to take the title which they will, ye we should have had a go at it, but we can't change the past or continue to sulk about it.

Its good thing I'm not a betting man coz I might've been tempted, and lets be honest 7 to 1 would be fair odds for the ABs playing at Eden Park. I agree with you 100%. France are simply awful and the ABs are simply awesome, but where have I heard that before?

I think the result could hinge on who referees this match, if its Wayne Barnes he may feel like compensating the ABs for screwing them 4 years ago, hopefully its Jonathan Kaplan I can see him binning McCaw twice to make sure the ABs lose it :lol:

I just cant help but question the legitimacy of this worldcup... so many strange things have occurred

Im not saying that NZ does not deserve to win, its just the kiwi ref sunk us, and then there is the Sam Warburton
tackle in the wales game... In the end none of the true contenders for the cup got through to the final...

and then a very weak french side makes it through to the final, the perfect opportunity for NZ to drop their chockers
tag and beat their bogey team...

The springboks were the only team that could beat the all blacks, and the springboks were unfairly dismissed. Look at how Somoa played against us, they played to hurt us, that is exactly what Bryce did. The Stage has been set for the All Blacs to win, and they will. I agree with Thunderbeast.
They will not only win, but they will make up at the same time for the bad history they have against France to set every thing straight in one game.

I completely lost interest after the Boks were cheated out of the RWC. If they lost fair and square, I would probably still have watched. The poor revving has made the whole turned a sad farce.

Ok (here is just a theory), IRB stands to loose revenue if NZ withdraws. It would cost them alot less to appoint an already questionable ref and pay a player to commit a deliberate redcard offence so early in such a deciding game...

French are unpredictable and totally inconsistant. They are known for pulling 1 out of the hat during such a tounament. For me it was against Wales. They are completey out classed and used all their lives allready this tournament. I say they are going down by about 15-20points

Well think NZ will take it. They probably deserve it. Still rekon if we had faced them we would have taken the cup home again but even though we'll all be bitter for some time after this world, we can still be proud of our boys for putting on an excellent performance. Just feel bad for the boys that are retiring after this, is this the way they would have liked to go out? Being screwed? Think not!!
