Why would someone manufacture whey and slap a steroid brand on it? Just curious.

Don't know. But there is sure as hell enough protein powders out there. I'm very anti majority of supplements.. what a load of crap.

Myself, I use supplement steroid, food, water, rest, training.
L-arginine for that blood flow mostly. Period.

Cough... money laundering, cough...

The supplements are just used to get the dirty money back into circulation.

I know you guys think you have it worked out with the money laundering claims,

But I promise you there are less conspicuous ways to launder money than to put the Anabolic Steroid brand on the Whey Protein.

Has anyone maybe considered the more obvious and more scientific reason? (and this I know as fact)

Ciccone Pharma got tired of bad quality Whey Proteins that spike the insulin and destroys their Growth Hormone 99% pure. Insulin is a antagonist to Growth Hormone. So they made a Whey Protein that can be taken with the Growth that won't destroy the Growth Hormone.

I know it's hard to believe but there are actually scientific reasons for people out there who follow a scientific route and therefore make products to match scientifically.

If they wanted to launder money and hide away then doing it through a supplement brand name that's not linked at all would have been much smarter.

For Ciccone Pharma the science of the sport comes first and worrying about the laws of the country comes second believe it or not.

Sure Adriaan, sure.

That was my tongue in cheek opinion, never did I state it was a fact. Relax, nobody cares how they launder their billions. Jeez, all the fucking brand fanboys are so tense lately, fokken chill bra.

Bwhahahaaa. The sport comes first and worrying about the laws of the country comes second.

That is probably the most idiotic comment I have read in my life.

How do you even pronounce it? Shit-ou-nee? Kick-one?

This has me sold though:

"Ciccone Pharma got tired of bad quality Whey Proteins that spike the insulin and destroys their Growth Hormone 99% pure. Insulin is a antagonist to Growth Hormone. So they made a Whey Protein that can be taken with the Growth that won't destroy the Growth Hormone."

You cannot argue with science. Insulin and GH does not mix :D

I see they've brought out a pre-workout also. I've also wondered about the pronunciation. It is a surname I see. Dave Palumbo interviewed a Pete Ciccone.

The teenagers said "psy-cone" and I'm like "I don't have any Pyscho bra", asked to spell it out and I was "Ooooooh. You lads want steroids? Why didn't you just say so."

I like "shit-ou-nee"

BTW this is Pete Ciccone, 619muscle . Don't think it's the same as the UG lab.

My 2cents ...sorry old thread but I can't resist . It's for marketing purposes . It's a way of getting there brand out there without getting into kak . So now they free to advertise their supplement products but most if not all of the community know what they really selling . It's on t-shirts , on stickers , on supplement shop windows ...you get the picture . Big body builders where Ciccone vests and guys go "that juice must be good".It's actually quite clever I think lol

if everything in the world made sense, life would be senseless.

Yip, today on IronTribe.co a dude posted a pic of him wearing a Ciccone vest, with his kids by his side.

Also starting to see Keifei shirts and hats in the gym

Also, Ciccone is releasing a preworkout, not sure if the label has been released to publications yet? It's not on their website so I won't post it, but it looks interesting. Hopefully I can get my hands on it before the official release for a small review.

Does it say "Pre-workout muscle primer"? If so, it appeared on page 14 of Muscle Evolution March/April issue.

@Chrono: I only have the back label, don't know the name or seen the front label. Well guess it's obvious I don't read BBing magazines

@lobo: Per kilogram. That made me check the label again. It's damn 18.3g of carbs per serving! No way will I try it then.

@RooiBul: Watse winkels gaan JY daar toe? Nee rêrig ek wil weet waar dit beskikbaar is :P

But apparently it dropped on 1 May :P Next time I need to act faster.
