Any help is appreciated.

Lancet does it, Just go in and ask them to do which ever tests you need
And as for what tests,

What are you doing the tests for? To prep for a cycle? to see why your guts not going? just because it seems the right thing to do?

Lancet or Pathcare. Pathcare's website also lists the various fees for each of the blood tests they do, so you know what you're in for.

Hi there. My response might be too late. PathCare tends to be the cheapest. If Admin allows, you could try get in contact with me and I can sort you out with a code for PathCare and then it is covered by your medical aid.
In terms of Baseline bloods, I agree with Empire. You need to know where you stand before a cycle. This would be my suggestion if budget is an issue.
HB, RCC and HCT (can do full blood count if anything is out of range)
Urea and Creatinine (can do a whole UE if you want)
Total test
Free test
SHBG
E2
Prolactin
TSH (With reflex T4 thrown in if out of range)
HB1AC (as mentioned - not 100% necessary but needed of you have risk factors for T2DM)
Additional:
Lipogram (Pricey but good to have)
LFT (screening for NASH these days but pricey and not always necessary)

I was at pathcare,
For all my stuff (Quite a bit, thyroid etc), it was just over R2k,
You can call them up aswell, they are always willing to give numbers over the phone

Hello LesDoctor. I've seen you once or twice but definitely an MD and one to listen to. Your name is not French hey c'ill vous ples. Hihi D'Accord? In your quote some Q's for your mind?  wrote: Hi there. My response might be too late. PathCare tends to be the cheapest. HB, RCC and HCT (can do full blood count if anything is out of range) Why TF would you need a full blood count if this is all you need? Also I would add Haemoglobin (not sure if you call this HCT but here we call it the full name)
Urea and Creatinine (can do a whole UE if you want)
Total test
Free test
SHBG
E2
Prolactin Why need this when you're testing Estradiol?
TSH (With reflex T4 thrown in if out of range) Why not rather T4 instead of TSH? Test Tsh after the initial abnormal T4?
HB1AC (as mentioned - not 100% necessary but needed of you have risk factors for T2DM)
Additional:
Lipogram (Pricey but good to have)
LFT (screening for NASH these days but pricey and not always necessary) If you're Mr Moneybags yeah but why??

Hb on a blood test is haemoglobin. Hct is hematocrit. Rcc or rbc red cell count or red blood cell.

Prolactin Why need this when you're testing Estradiol?

Because they are totally different hormones? Best to know about all your sex hormones that can cause issues? Even taking testosterone can have down stream affects of prolactin.

Why not rather T4 instead of TSH? Test Tsh after the initial abnormal T4?

Because tsh elevates first indicating the thyroid is under strain, so if tsh is elevated you have an indication of hypothyroidism and needs further investigation. If tsh is normal, not really need for investigation. Save the client money instead of going for a full thyroid panel.
