Sibutramine fat burner?? was created by Jono77
Hi all, hope everyone is doing well.

My dealer told me about a new product that he got a hold of from ciccone pharma, it's called sibutramine and it's a fat burner.

Anyone have person experience or any info on this stuff? I've googled it but don't really find any testimonies of guys using it..I'd be willing to give it a try and let you guys know how it does as I do more research I'll decide.

Thanks

Hey Jono, yeah I mentioned it briefly here on Pyro's thread:
www.anabolicsteroids.co.za/forum/10-diet...sion?start=25#200484

It's chiefly an appetite suppressant, but works in more ways than phentermine (Duromine). So if appetite isn't your problem, better of going with the classics we often discuss here. I would love to hear from somebody who's tried Duromine to describe the difference they feel between the two.

News24

Reasons for the withdrawal

The Reuters report published in January 2010, said that a study called SCOUT, which compared Meridia (sibutramine) against placebo (dummy treatment) in 10 000 patients, had found an increased risk for heart attacks or stroke in subjects receiving the active drug.

Preliminary data indicated that 11.4% of the subjects receiving sibutramine had died, or had a heart attack, a stroke or cardiac arrest compared to 10% for subjects who were given the placebo treatment (Richwine, 2010).

In reaction to these findings, the EU elected to ban all sibutramine-containing medications immediately. Other countries, including South Africa, first evaluated the results of the study to assess the risk posed to persons using sibutramine for slimming purposes. Abbott Laboratories who produce Reductil and Ectiva in South Africa have now voluntarily withdrawn these two slimming products in South Africa.

Wikipedia

...In a dissenting article, "Sibutramine: gone, but not forgotten", David Haslam (chairman of the National Obesity Forum) says that the SCOUT study is flawed as it only covered high-risk patients and did not consider obese patients who do not have cardiovascular complications or similar contraindications

On January 21, 2010, the European Medicines Agency recommended suspension of marketing authorizations for sibutramine based on the SCOUT study results.

In August 2010 the FDA added a new contraindication for patients over 65 years of age due to the fact that clinical studies of sibutramine did not include sufficient numbers of such patients.

Abbott Laboratories announced on October 8, 2010 that it is withdrawing sibutramine from the US market under pressure from the FDA, citing concerns over minimal efficacy coupled with increased risk of adverse cardiovascular events....

Why would you want to use something so harsh?

If you keep doing what you've been doing
You gonna keep getting what you've been getting...

Thanks for all the info furk, much appreciated..do the studies show the duration of taking the drug and dosage?

Alone I don't think it's much of a fat mobilizer or burner but maybe it could be stacked well with yohimbine to give a great synergy between the two? I wouldn't stack with Clem as clen already has a hard effect on the heart

I've never taken yohimbine before but I'm considering using it with clen, maybe taking the sibutramine with yohimbine would give me an even better result?

Jono, you misunderstand. I asked if appetite is problem, if it is, go for it.
If not, use: Clen, Yoh, FFF, ECA.

Sibutramine will take hunger away and make you feel happy.
Clen will make breathing easier and make you sweaty.
Yohimbine will give you a bit of a kick and maybe increase heart rate.

Non of these chemicals mobilise fat, or burn fat.

No worries mate, it just pays of if you understand the mechanism behind the drugs you are using, even to a small degree. It makes them safer as well.

If appetite is an issue go for it, I guess. If it's anything like Duromine it should be effective for about 14 hours. You don't need to stack it, but it can give sleeping issues, so take it early enough in the day. And if you are prone to sleeplessness consider getting something that might help with that, viz: GABA, Betasleep, Melatonien ect.

100s thanks furk, you're always there with helpful info!!

I'll order it and probably have it next week,I'll let you guys know how it goes.

It's dosed at 30mg per tab,I assume 1 in the morning when I wake up,then I do my weight training before work and I'll do cardio in the afternoon..it's quite pricey so if I could stack it with something for better results is like to do that, could I stack it with clen or would it be too harsh on my heart?

You're welcome.

Totally different substances, totally alright to use together. Don't think it's necessary to take 2 caps per day. Just head over and read the leaflet info if your package didn't come with one:

Check out suggestions below, no need to taper Clen down, if anything it'll be extremely in effective.

Day1-7
Sibutramine 30mg ed
Clen 40mcg ed

Day7-21
Sibutramine 30mg ed
Clen 80mcg ed

Day21-30
Sibutramine 30mg ed
Clen 100mcg ed

Day1-30
Ketotifen ed

Sibutramine will give you the opportunity to bring calories really low, so make use of it. Just keep protein high enough.
Good call on the carbs, LCHF/Keto with Clen works a charm. Just make sure ensure fibre is high enough, otherwise you'll be crapping bloody pieces of coal.
Cleanse: Eat vegetables, drink water, sit on the toilet.
Detox: Stop drinking & smoking.

I don't really like the term detox, no hard feelings breh.

No need to apologise mate.

What do you want to use HGH for? To assist with cutting? Not recommended at all.

No not planning using frag at all, just curious on its effects, from the research I've done it seems like a great fat burner just wondering why it isn't discussed much(I could be wrong) why do you say it isn't recommended brother?

My apologies, misread the frag part. Thought you were talking about regular somatropin. I can't give feedback or advice on that mate, but curious about results and personal anecdotes also.
