Is Dianabol really meant for beginners? was created by DruOmedra
Hey guys, hope all are well.

I have been researching Dianabol somewhat lately and I've learned that;

- It's one of the more estrogenic compounds
- It's easier on the liver than other orals
- Causes water retention
- Great for strength

Now a lot of cycles utilize dianabol as a kickstarter and I'm curious as to why that is.
From what I've learned Dianabol only cycles will end in the user losing all their gains - ergo - 'pissing out all the water weight' for lack of better term.

It's recommended that you use it as a kickstarter alongside the usual test e/test c etc.
But why?
Is it just so you can experience the anabolic effects sooner? The strength gain faster/sooner, because the test won't kick in for a while?
I've read that different compounds use/affect differently the androgenic receptors - does using dbol+test really make that much of a use of it though?

I suppose the other argument to be made is the strength gain will cause hyperthrophy, but for the most part seems it will give you that round full feeling, which will go away when it wears off (muscle water retention).

So this seems to be something that would be beneficial if you are at a plateau or an experienced user.

My question is, essentially, "is running test alongside dbol really going to keep those dbol gains better than a dbol only cycle?"

Looking for advice or even personal experience. Thanks!

Kickstarting is to get going with your cycle a bit quicker.. You can use Test Prop during this time or even Test Suspension, you do not need to use dianabol.

You will not lose 100% of your gains on a dianabol only cycle, but if you are planning a dianabol only cycle it probably means you have no idea about all the other elements of bodybuilding and then you will lose most of your gains.

Dianabol is a great way to break a plateau and is very effective during the middle or 3/4th of your cycle, i'd probably prefer to throw it in there..

And yes running test along side dianabol will help you keep some of the gains as muscle takes time to build, so the gains you are talking about are not really 'gains', it's a huge bloat of water, muscles don't build over night so you need to take your time and have them slowly built (this is dependant on your genetics.)

Agreed with Pump.

Yes Dbol is added with Test or as a bigger stack if you are more advanced to kic start your cycle so that experience gains in size and strength soon until the long esters of your Testosterone or other compounds are broken down and the compounds become active.

Much actually most of your gains from Dianabol is water. People have roperted running Anti Aromatase with it to provide a leaner cleaner cycle with less water but then you might as well run a better oral like Anavar or Turinabol from the start. Many tout Turinabol as a derivative of Dianabol and call it Dianabol's milder younger brother

It is on you. It always has been...

I don't think Dianabols is really meant for beginners... After all, Dianabols was for years one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's long term go-to drugs before it was banned. (Although I think he continued with it even after the ban).

According to me, Dianabols make for a easy beginners cycle because it is readily available and easy to administer. Yes, there can be a bit of water retention which isn't necessarily a bad thing in the beginning of a cycle as it helps with recovery. For more or less the same reasons it is often used by bodybuilders only at the start of a cycle to gain rapid strength and the appearance of great size, while other compounds with long acting esters build up in the body to an amount capable of supporting anabolic function on their own.

The same goes for Cypionate or Enanthate as a test for a beginner cycle... It isn't necessarily meant for beginners, but it makes for an easy introduction into the use of steroids.

I might be wrong, but just my point of view.

Sore today, strong tomorrow!!!

I have never taken Dbol however on my obsessive research about the compounds i would rather pay twice for Tbol or Anavar....Mind you i have seen some local gym rats who take dbol and they bloat up like balloons yes they are big but screw that i rather be above average without stretch marks.
And as for my 2cent....i wouldn't advise Dianabol for beginner.

it looks heavy!!

That is good to know, thank you for sharing that. Yeah I wouldn't do a dbol only cycle, but at least it's good to know you won't lose everything.

Interesting you mention Test P for kickstarter - that is something I would actually like to try in the future.

Yeah, that's exactly what I've come to learn from reading here and on other sites. It's water retention in the tissue, very interesting stuff actually.
From what I've read Tbol and Anavar seems quite great and it's nice to have experienced users here post about it for the info.

Good point stating that it makes for an easy introduction. I definitely agree with that, looking at cycles there is a lot of information to take in if you have no prior knowledge etc and less frequent injections with E/C is convenient.

I do think I'll follow the standard beginner cycle, but I'll probably start with a slightly lower dose of Dbol and taper up to the amount recommended (and ofc use HCG correctly).

Heh I already have stretch marks as a natty, just on my legs though. Yeah depending on where stretch marks are they can be battle scars of lifting or pretty unappealing to the eye so I get your POV. Mine are okay because they're covered up most of the time, but if I had stretch marks like say George Leeman it'd probably affect my confidence a bit with bodybuilding being an aesthetics thing n all.
