Thyroid/Palpitations Issues. was created by pocketmuscle
Hi all,

Asking this question on behalf of gf.
She currently has an under - active thyroid. Using Eltroxin 1.125mg per day as recommended by doctor. And also Cardicor for heart palpitations.

Now my question is:
Are there anything you guys would recommend for her to use to drop some weight. Taking in consideration her thyroid/palpitation issues. I know training and diet is the most important part of losing weight. The only product I could think of was Herbex. Any other suggestions?

Tx

Basically it should come down to a non - stimulant. CLA?

GW501516. Works well and rare to get side effects. How much weight are we talking about though?

Tx MA,
About 5-10kg's but over a slow steady period. As far as my knowledge any stimulant-like product is going to make the the palpitations worse. So that's why I thought in the line of CLA?

If you overdo thyroid medication you will get heart palpitations, so if her dose is to high for the requires treatment, her medication can contribute to it and may need to be lowered.. Once something is causing you to get funny feelings in your chest, nearly any medication / coffee / bla bla bla, will make it worse. So from my point of view I believe taking anything will just give her anxiety as it will make her even more aware of the feelings in her chest. I say double check the medication dose and secondly get diet and cardio on the go, cardio has a brilliant way of 'resetting' our 'hearts clock' to a more natural rhythm.

Tx Pump,

My apologies, she is actually using 0.15mg per day ;)

Ok, that dose looks a bit more reasonable :)

Haha, it does hey.

One more thing...
How do I get my karma back to normal?
Don't know if you remember, but a while back I got a bit paranoid regarding my libido after a Test & EQ cycle. And after a few stupid and impatient questions my karma went a bit negative...
