Pisiotherpist won't really help. Rather go see a chiropractor if you keep struggling with it.
Injections into the piriformis muscle will be the last option. They can give you an injection under sonar directly into the muscle to try and help it release.
Good luck

Ravage wrote: Ok test is out.Doc sending me for MRI scans on Fri, seeing a neurologist on This Thurs. So he isn't sure himself yet, but he said something about lumbar 4 inflammation...Another very important question which I haven't asked here guys is what about gym ? Which exercises can I still do, I gather any exercises which don't have me leaning forward or which might compress my spine? And I was training twice a day even with my injury.
This has gone to the big dogs, when you getting neurologists involved I think this would be best to ask a specialist.

@MA , Thanks for that if I feel any pain I will stop. But the squats I think I have to leave alone too because I don't even feel very confident doing heavy weights anymore?

Reason I am asking is because that is what I am currently experiencing.
And has anybody else experienced this kind of sensation in the lower back region. I know I should go see a doc/specialist. Just want you gents opions.
I have started to experience this sensation right after doing alot of standing barbell presses. And has since stopped doing them.
Apologies if I have hacked your post. Will start a new one if need be?
Will appreciate your input as always.

I hope the physio can help you out, although a Chiropractor was more helpful to me.
Goodluck, really hope you get it sorted. Be patient, it is something that really take some time.
