Surgery After Cycle was created by Pieman
Hi guys,
I’m doing my 3rd cycle soon. And need advice regarding my cholesterol because I’m planning to have a surgical procedure done right after my cycle and during PCT.
Stats: 200lb
BF: 18%
Height: 1.91m
Age: 29
Cycle is as follows:
Week 1 to 8 – Test Prop at 140mg and NPP at 120mg EOD
Week 1 to 8 – Adex at 0.5mg EOD and Caber at 0.25 E3D
Week 1-4 – Anavar at 60mg ED
Week 4-8 – Winstrol Injectable at 100mg EOD
Wait 3 days after last Test/NPP/Winny injection, then PCT:
Week 9 -10 – Clomid at 100mg ED and Nolva at 40mg ED
Week 10-11 – Clomid at 50mg and Nolva at 40mg ED
Week 11 – 13 – Nolva at 20mg ED
My concern is with my cholesterol. I’m planning to have a small surgical procedure done in week 10 of the cycle to remove some scar tissue. Very minor but I do need to be anesthetized. This operation is exactly 2 weeks after last Test/NPP/Winny injection and I’ll be on clomid and nolva during that time.
Will my cholesterol be through the roof?? How long after a Winny cycle will it go back to a reasonable level? Where I am I struggle to get HDL/LDL cholesterol testers, only total cholesterol testers so I’m not sure what it’ll be doing?
The previous time I had a surgical procedure they checked my cholesterol on the day to make sure it was okay (it was), but some other bloke in the ward was denied to the theatre because his cholesterol was too high! What’s the cutoff? I don’t want to be that guy.

Why not cycle after the procedure to help speed up recovery? Where is the scar tissue?

The surgery can only take place on 2x dates this year because those are the only 2 dates available. Both dates are shortly after the planned cycles so if my cholesterol numbers are going to put me in the "non-opration" category, I either need do one moerse long cycle with little recovery (not keen to do that) or to laugh off a cycle, or laugh off the surgery.
The scar is on my chest, I get bad keloids, hesitant to cycle after surgery because the NPP enhances collagen and I'm concerned the added collagen will make the scar bigger again, defeating the purpose of the surgery. Rock and hard place.

For me no problem as long as you are able to train hard soon after the procedure. If it would take weeks to train properly then I would rethink the cycle.

Thank Pyro - I'll be down for about 10 days, so not a biggie.. You reckon my cholesterol will be OK? I've never in my life had any cholesterol issues off cycle, but I've never checked while on cycle..

Won't the Winny and Anavar wreck my Cholesterol?

It will increase on cycle if you are prone to high cholesterol but it won't tip the scales and it won't affect the procedure. If you are prone to high cholesterol it's always clever before cycle to check if levels are not high.

This is what I was looking for, thanks! I don't normally have high-cholesterol and have never tested cholesterol whilst on cycle, I was under the impression that it goes crazy high, but if it doesn't go high enough to tip the scales, that's good news.
