Bloodwork

Hi everyone.

I am about mid cycle on the forums bulking cycle.

I would like to have bloodwork done to see where my levels are. Which tests should i ask for at ampath? Or do i need to go though a doctor to get it done.

Lastly does anyone know how much more or less it will cost.

You'd normally want to see Total Test, Free Test, SHBG, Oestradiol, FSH AND LH. Probably not a bad idea to add in a lipid panel to see where your HDL/LDL/triglyceride levels and ratios are at.

I think I paid about R1800, maybe a bit less because I hadliver panels as well. I went direct to Ampath but I have a mate in the lab, I think that you need to go through a doctor usually.

Please dont miss getting a full blood count done. It will show you your heamocrit,rbc and hemoglobin levels. If those are vastly elevated it means your blood is thick and sludgey and is best to go and donate a pint of blood to beong those levels down.

Danny if you are on a cycle then do not bother with LH and FSH as they are going to be suppressed or shut down so you won't get an good indication on then those two you want to 6 weeks after Post Cycle Therapy and before your cycles
