Rapid weight loss was created by Danny
Hi all

My wife went for a lumbar rhizotomy yesterday(burning of nerves in lower back). The doc said that she needs to drastically lose weight... a full 20kgs outch. We are going to see a dietitian and a biokineticist but is there anything else i can maybe give her to aid weight loss? Like a fat burner like clen or maybe a steroid like anavar? I'm not sure if it will help because she is overweight

Hi Danny

Drastically does not meany rapidly. See the dietician and work on a training schedule first before resorting to drugs if she is overweight to the degree that she needs to lose 20kg. There are many a drug in the world for fat loss, but get the core principles in place first, discipline in eating and discipline in training. After that has become a lifestyle then look at the accelerants. Good luck bud

Danny boy,

If you post her diet we can comment on how to make fat-loss faster, but I think the goal is sustainable and permanent (what Robbie was also getting too).

As for chemicals, if you are over-weight Clen will feel like punishment. It's going to make her breathing faster and possibly sweaty, so that will be uncomfortable. If she really wants to use a substance, GW-501516 (cardarine) will be better suited: no nasty side effects. Steroids will not be suited for her, nor are they intrinsically fat-burners.

Just one question Furk, won't something like FFF help for this as well?
Or does it fall into the same category as clen with nasty sweating and breathing etc

Fat Furnace Fifteen would be a lot more mild, more appropriate than Clen or Ephedrine for sure. The reason GW came to mind first was the additional benefits (cholesterol ect).

BigBoy was pretty heavy and used FFF to success, if I recall correctly.

thanks for the response. I never thought of GW as a fat burner.
Makes sense what you say though. Should look into recommending it to people are buying ECA's and clen "because they heard it works like a bomb"

For myself, when I used GW in the past it was mainly for performance enhancement. Specifically swimming, broke personal records, awesome endurance, and eventually had to change my swimming routine to make it more demanding.

I don't like to refer to GW as a "fat burner", because it's an inaccurate name for it, but it certainly does help for loosing fat. I read some article in the past that refers to GW being used to treat obesity and metabolic syndrome because it is "exercise in a pill". I kind of like that label.

Hi Danny.

I agree with what Robbie has said.

What I would do, is to get her on a proper Diet and some sort of exercise plan as fast as possible. Follow that until weight loss slows down, and only then introduce "meds"

Your title says Rapid weight loss, be very careful of that as well. If you cut her calories to low, she will be dropping weight but you will also slow down her metabolism. Not Ideal. As it will make further and future weight loss difficult. Slow and steady is better on the body, and also on her, as it is more bearable and sustainable.

How old is she? Has the doctor test her thyroid function?

Hey everyone

Sorry for only replying now but the last couple of days was a roller coaster cause i was off work for 2 days with her operation.

Thanks for all the replies guys it's really appreciated!
We will for sure follow your advice and see the dietitian first and then see what to do, because honestly she has no diet and sometimes calls me a health junkie cause i'm strict on my diet especially on cycle. She does gym but she hasn't taken it seriously in the past (hopefully this changes now).

@Furk I will look into GW but only after we see the dietitian maybe then she will understand things a lot clearer.

@GrootD she had her thyroid tested on Monday and all seems to be in order there. The doctor said to her she needs rapid weight loss and she needs to do it drastically, Personally I think he just said that to make her understand the importance of the weight loss. We will do it gradually so that she drops the weight over lets say a year, in that way the loss of fat remains permanent and her metabolism speeds up.

Will check in here again after seeing the dietitian and post the diet on here.
Thanx a mill everyone. This forum rocks!!!

Hi Bud.

I have also had great results with Fat Furnace Fifteen I would recommend it to anyone.

About two years ago I was 147Kg fat I am 1.68 tall and 31 now I now sit at 100-108kg 12-15% Body Fat. I cleaned up my diet but did not really know how to eat for what I wanted to achieve and just ate clean and busted my ass on the cardio machines and on the weights I got down to 128kg by doing the clean eating and hard training and Cardio with Fat Furnace Fifteen.

You and her should both spend a lot of time in the dieting section in the site now read all the stickies learn to calculate how many calories she should consume and keep her activity in mind.

This was as advice given to me and I do not regret it a day. To the guys that help and motivate me on this site I am forever in your dept.

It is on you. It always has been...

Hi MammaB,

First you need start a new thread of your own where you need to state all your stats (weight, height, age, diet, bodyfat %, training programme etc. The boys are well equipped to sort you out with good advise. A good start would be only feed yourself and not the extra person you're carrying to starve him out lol. Congratulations on taking the step to getting healthy & in shape.
