Hi All,
I recently (3 weeks back) started my first cycle of Test cyp 500MG per week and all seems to be going well, Prior to me starting my cycle my Dr had tested my test levels as I have been on antidepressants.
At my appointment today my Dr offered TRT to me in the form of a jab every three months, I did not tell him I have just started a cycle and told him thanks I would think about it.
My test levels according to the test were at 350. Question now is I Have another app when my cycle ends which is end of Oct and I want to go onto the TRT, Is this a good idea as I would have just finished my cycle and if so would I run any PCT. Im new to this and really need some advice please

I've been offered cocaine before, it doesn't mean that taking it would be the right thing to do.
See what I mean? One set of blood tests alone can't be ground for a life prescription of TRT. I'm sorry, but I think that this is reckless. Is this doctor an endocrinologist or urologist?
Finish your cycle, wait 3 months post PCT, then do follow up blood tests.
If that turns up below the healthy range, do fasted blood tests.
If that turns up below the healthy range, consider what factors can be contributing towards low T and try to combat those problems.
If that doesn't work, consider a course of HCG.
If that doesn't work, speak to your specialist about hormone replacement options.
Also, please give us some stats and background. Age, PED use history is a good start.
May come across as harsh, but that's good advice. You shouldn't jump on the first opportunity to do TRT (and neither should a doctor for prescribing it). This is coming from someone on TRT.

Hi Kong.
I stand with Furk, you need to give as much information as possible here. How old are you. What is your weight and height and body fat %? What age did you start using suppressive drugs and what were they? What did you do to try and recover?
For Admin or one of the Moderators or A nior Experienced members to offer the best possible advice always give as much actually all information.

I Appreciate the honesty on this as I dont want to make a mistake and jump into something I dont need or may harm me
I am 38 years old 180cm and 14% BF, This is my first cycle so I have not done any AAS before this.

What was your body fat at the time that your test levels were tested as 350?

I'm on TRT and have been for almost two years. While I agree with Furk that you should do your homework and not jump into it, TRT is the best thing that has ever happened to me and changed my life, literally.
I personally see no harm in a Doctor prescribed 6 month "sample run" of TRT. But at TRT doses 100-150mg/week Test Cyp probably, it's not an excuse to run permanent steroid cycles. If TRT doesn't do anything for you then you have an option to run a PCT and return to "normal".
Your blood results are a simple figure, knowledgeable doctors will prescribe to treat symptoms not numbers and if a doctor has suggested a sample course, who are we to argue, he's obviously seen your bloodwork and listened to your story and has scheduled you for second blood tests in October as I understand it? That doesn't sound irresponsible to me.
The problem is if you decide to stay on cycle now and end your cycle close to the new bloods then you will not get an accurate reading as your levels will still be inflated or substantially low, dependent on how close the tests are to the end of the cycle and PCT.
My advice would be to stop your cycle now, possibly run some Hcg and PCT (better advice on recovery needed here if you stop 3 weeks in your cycle). Then have the tests done in September or October and if your levels are still low, consider a 6 month TRT protocol. It's up to you but if you are seriously struggling with low levels of test then forget the cycle and rather focus on getting the problem solved, be it TRT or other routes. You can always cycle once the issue is being treated.
Good luck, cheers.

Hi Rooi Bul,
I was 14% BF when this test was done, My main question is if I go onto the TRT threapy, I would wait till my last shot of test cyp, then start the TRT.
Would I need to run any form of PCT or AI after this cycle im on?

I would run a full PCT and try and recover do bloods and see what's up where.
But if you are hell bent on TRT then no you complete your cycle and go to the doc and either you pick up your prescribed Testosterone or he injects you.
