TRT level dosage subQ

Heya folks,

I went to my GP for bloods after having a suspicion I was having low test symptoms (depression, libido, energy, belly fat, etc)

The results came back super low, 218 with 60 SHBG and 16 free, can't remember the other numbers but ldl was super low and HDL was perfect - this for a 47 year old, lifting for many years, 18% bf at 85kg.

So I'm going to do trt for a few months to see how it helps - hopefully getting testosterone levels to around 700.

I like the idea of subQ injections, and with things like supertest 500, the way my head works is that 0.25ml of this subQ into belly fat with an insulin needle sounds better than a classic 1ml of test with a bigass pin in the arse.

What are your thoughts on subQ and am I on the right track?

You are on the right track for TRT yes. But for TRT forget about mixed Testosterones or Tedt Combos go with a good old single ester like Cypionate or Enanthate and stick with it. Go with 0.25ml depending on tbe dosage mg per ml 0.25ml every 3.5days.

Agree with RB, use a single ester and not a blend. This is what I do. Run 125 p/w for your body weight. I use a bit more but am slightly heavier. At your age a trt or cruise as we not sure what you will do in the future should be fine. Check your vitals periodically.

Well done on getting the issue identified.

As said above don't go with mixes. Test Cyp or E is the answer. I mostly inject subq. I don't use an insulin needle as its a mission to draw and backfilling is also a pain. Get 1 or 2ml syringes. Draw with a 21g. Jab with a 26g needle. Its fine for subq. In my experience, don't jab more than .5ml subq. Make sure you get into the fat and inject slowly, otherwise you'll be left with a little lump.

I tend to mix between subq and glutes every 3 or 4 months, just to give the area a rest and for a change in scenery.
