Prostate issues and Var was created by Spikeman
Hi, hope the general’s here can be of assistance.

Age: 38
Training history: 14 years
BF: 15%
Training log: 4 strength + 2 cardio per week
Supplements: Omega 3’s, creatine monohydrate, Real Thing Joint Support, Milk Thistle, and Whey Isolate.

Recently started the Anavar/Proviron cycle as listed in the sample cycles. Preloaded with creatine @ 5mg/day as well as Milk Thistle for the month leading into the cycle.

Currently on day 10 and ended up at the Doc yesterday after pissing fire and experiencing serious lethargy. Besides the raging ferno and malaise, I am also experiencing bilateral lower back pain accompanied by some neural symptoms. I was stressing pretty bad (suffer from general anxiety disorder as well!) as I thought it could be liver/kidney’s. Doc however reckons that it is my prostate that is inflamed (prostatitis) and has prescribed antibiotics and a visit to the Urologist.

Do I toss the orals or continue?

Feeling like a bit of a toss; thought I read up enough on it and put the necessary scaffolding in place....push comes to shove and I feel completely out of my depth.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Both the Anavar and Proviron are from LP.

You sure the back pains you referring to are not back pumps?

EDIT: Pissing fire is definitely an issue!

I’m not sure if it is back pump, it seems rather low, is bi-lateral, and constantly aches. On Sat morning I could hardly bend over to tie my shoes as I couldn’t tolerate more than 10 secs hunched over.

It seems that low back pain is a symptom of prostatitis hence I didn’t consider the back pumps.

If it is back pump, would 5mg of Taurine assist?

My appt with the Urologist is only on the 7th Nov, not sure if I should call it quits with the cycle now?

If yes, do I just follow the prescribed PCT protocol?

Did your doc test your urine for urinary tract infection? Rapid hormonal changes can cause infections.

So just got off the phone with the Doc now, lab results indicate kidney function is 100% and confirmed the diagnosis of prostatitis caused by E. coli bacteria.

How do I progress from here?

Lower the Anavar/Proviron dose to 20mg of each until the infection has been cleared completely. Stop all the supplements, particularly Whey and creatine for a few weeks after the infection has been cleared.

He used this cycle, but that is irrelevant since the infection was caused by E. coli bacteria: www.anabolicsteroids.co.za/sample-cycles/21-cycle-2
