Howzit guys

So after feeling like crap for the last year or so, I decided to go have some blood work done.

The results are as follows:

E2 Result: 71 pmol/L Reference: <192

Testosterone (TOTAL) Result 10.6 nmol/L Reference: 8.0 - 30.0

SHGB Result: 18.2 nmol/L Reference: L 18.3 - 54.1

Free Testosterone Result: 282 pmol/L reference 180 - 739

FSH Result: 2.4 U/L Reference: 1.5 - 12.4

LH Result 6.4 U/L Reference 1.7 - 8.6

I'd appreciate any feedback you guys have. I'd also like to thank you guys for the wealth of information available on the forum. Especially the TRT Basics sticky made by Mfezdro. It took a lot of the guess work out of what I did regarding blood work.

I'm 31 and although I am active I've lost a lot of motivation to train. I feel a lot of the common symptoms associated with Low T, especially the constant fatigue (this has been the biggest issue for me). I've made an effort to clean up my diet and get enough sleep.

Anyway, I don't want to turn this into a long sob story. I'd just appreciate any feedback to get an idea of what's going on. I do intend on seeing a specialist when I get back from vacation early next year.

Thanks again.
Cheers

Good start getting your bloods done, at least you have a snapshot now.

Your T is pretty low, especially at 31yo. Your LH is slightly elevated which suggests your pituitary is trying to get your testes producing T in response to the low levels, it would be interesting to see your next bloods and see if that is still the case, as your FSH is relatively low. LH is not high enough to start thinking primary (testicular) hypogonadism, but I'm pretty your Dr will look at this after another blood test.

Your SHBG is also low, so your low T is not a result of high SHBG. How's your weight and did you get a thyroid panel done?

E2 is quite low at 71 pmol (19pg/ml), this could also be contributing towards your feeling crappy and it won't be helping your libido, I know at that range I wasn't feeling great.
Personally I'd think you were a candidate for TRT but obviously your specialist will advise correctly. If I was you I'd also want them to establish the cause and if you are primary or secondary hypogonadal as there are different causes to identify and potential treatment options. I'd also look into the lowish SHBG as TRT will reduce it even further, although I don't think it's a critical issue right now.

Let us know what happens.

My comments are not advice, medical or otherwise. I am not a medical practitioner. Always consult your Doctor before making decisions.

Keeping Your diet good will be a good idea.

Eat Maintenance Calories and make sure you are eating balanced with macros. Never drop your fat intake below 30% of daily calorie intake if you want to protect natural hormone health

It is on you. It always has been...
