TRT with DHT Derivative as AI was created by steady
Hi I have been doing quite a bit of research on AI's after posting about "Dr dodgy" claiming that there was an AI in the TRT dose already. Someone else posted that they saw a MastaJaect vile that the Dr was using and that was the supposed AI.

I am currently on TRT at 150 mg a week and thanks to this site and the brilliant advice and support I am self medicating and saving a fortune. I recently switched from 1 shot a week to split the dosage into two as I have read that this is better from an estrogen perspective and the same with the HCG I am taking.

I keep Arimidex on hand as an AI and when switching last week I noticed sensitive nipples and so I took 0.5 mg twice in a week and that sorted it out however I was super tired and felt very weak. Still better than gyno.

I started researching Mast and then discovered that DHT derivatives are similar to AI's. So here's my question.....Would it be better/recommended to say use 100 mg a week Test Cyp and 50 mg a week of some DHT derivative in order to help...or say 120mg Cyp and 30 DHT derivative split? If so what should I use? Var or Winny or something injectable?

There are obviously other benefits from a strength and well being perspective, or should I just stay as is on the 150mg Test Cyp a week and use the Arimidex as and when needed, if at all.....

I mean this would be best to discuss with an actual doctor willing to work with you (that is actually aware on E2 management etc).

I doubt anyone can give you specific advice unless you get some bloods done. You may be over suppressing E2. Get the levels checked, you may need less or no AI. I know many guys use proviron as an adjunct to a TRT therapy but never as a replacement to an AI. In terms of therapy I have heard of high dose zinc being used (Dr Mark Gordon I believe), but proviron won't replace an AI.

I am sure other guys can give their input on either AIs (maybe exemestane etc).

Are you looking to dabble with anabolics? I don't see another justification for using winstrol or something else. Get bloods done. If you need to free SHBG maybe that could be a justification I cannot give a recommendation there but I am sure someone here can help you.

Masteron for TRT ?

You claim that it is used for AI but im not too sure about that... If u want to use an AI use an AI not a DHT that acts maybe as a weak AI...

1mg Arimidex with 150mg test a week ? how gyno prone are u ????

consult with ur doc

Thanks for the feedback. Let me clarify, I didn't have gyno just some sensitivity, I took 2 x 0.5 mg Arimidex once....more than likely it was unnecessary.

I am not suggesting that Masteron or any DHT derivative is an AI or AI replacement, but thought it might help in controlling estrogen.

I will stick to the Test Cyp @ 150mg per week with HCG.

thanks again

how often are you injecting? i found doing my trt 2-3x a week with split dosing is way better for estrogen control. i don't even use an AI anymore. i do 55mg 3x week now..

Thank you for your response @Empire. I was initially doing once a week, but then moved to twice a week. This has definitely helped. I understand why after a lot of research, but ideally I don't want to be pinning more than twice a week. I am considering moving to sustanon/sustaject and trying once every five days. I'll give it a try and see if with the different esters it works better for me. There is a ton of literature available both for and against this, but I won't know how it works for me until I've tried it.

funny i have seen some out there "trt" protocols. so i have seen one guy who runs a ratio of 20mg test c/e, 10mg NPP, and 5mg masteron E per DAY. so based on weekly figures its 140mg test e,70mg npp and 35mg masteron e. but he does a jab every 3.5 days of 70mg test, 35mg npp and 20mg of masteron E. quite an interesting protocol.

DHTs have some action that masks estrogen and can let you let your E2 run higher without AI.

That said the effect is minor as far as I know.

Doing self prescribed TRT I assume you're getting bloods done. What are your T levels? In my opinion if TRT is causing high estrogen symptoms you should reduce your trt dose.

Lastly more regular pinning reduces peak test levels and therefore reduces estrogen conversation a little, maybe consider pinning E3.5d or MWF. Never hurts to spread it out.
