Test effects on me, help please

Hope you all well.
Reason for posting this is that I am getting strange effects while on test Cyp which I can’t figure out.
I was on ciconne Cyp 500mg a week last year with decent results. I read that EU has good reputation so I got 2 bottles Cyp and 2 bottles enanthate to try.
Firstly this is what I’m feeling, not sure if it’s blood pressure but my head feels thick and swollen like someone is choking me. My heart rate is always elevated and I feel shakey and dizzy.
Started the Cyp with 2 shots of 250mg a week week 1 and 2.
This is when I first felt crap, I took over a week off to see if it was the gear, when I felt better I decided to do 125mg EOD, after 3 shots I felt like crap again. Took 5 days off, felt better took another shot day before yesterday and yesterday felt crap again.
What do you guys think it could be? I never reacted to ciconne Cyp like this, maybe it’s the Ester mix, I don’t know. Any advice please.
I was thinking of taking a week off again until I feel better then trying the EU enanthate at 125mg a week. If the same persists then I want to try out PGW Cyp, maybe my body does not like the brand
Any advice would be appreciated

So I tried to pin this down to many different aetiologies:
- High blood pressure - this wasn’t the case, I measured my blood pressure myself over a whole day and my blood pressure was perfect.
- Brain reacting to elevated testosterone or estrogen levels, this is very possible because it is also known in women taking the pill initially to experience the same symptoms. Your brain might not be used to such high circulating hormones even though you took ciccone previosuly . This could be true since my symptoms subsided with time (after three weeks - however could be other factors that influenced this)
- Anxiety - I have suffered from anxiety all my life and the symptoms I experienced when first starting testosterone were exactly the same as those I got when I had an anxiety attack. Testosterone can precipitate and exacerbate underlying mental health problems. However, over time it got better and my anxiety has never been better.
- Haematocrit: symptoms of elevated heamatocrit are similar to those you are experiencing. You should get a blood test to check. Mine was slightly elevated so I donated blood almost 10 months ago and the symptoms went away in a week. I started getting the symptoms again recently and two weeks ago I donated blood and now I feel amazing again.
- Thyroid issues - TRT does exacerbate thyroid problems. Try supplementing with iodine - this didn’t really help me but has helped others.
So I really do not know what this could be. I’ve tried to find the cause but honestly I still can’t be sure.
Hope this helps slightly.

Try another brand and report back, but by all means test your iron levels as well. Mine goes through the roof on test and I donate blood every 8 weeks.

The reason why I didn’t pin it down to the product itself is because I experienced with with different brands and it eventually went away only to reappear again. I was actually half way through a vial of PGW test C and it randomly appeared. So I’m not entirely sure how to explain it.

Thanks for the advice, which brands do you recommend I try? I don’t mind buying a bottle of Cyp from 2 or 3 labs and testing them out.
I was thinking PGW, which others do you think

Get Depo-Testosterone from Pfizer for this test, I know it's expensive but if you still have issues on that then you can be sure it's likely from the hormone and not the oil or solvent blend.

That's interesting and I'll be on the lookout for similar reports from my side. Not disagreeing with your views at all by the way.

First, I also have a bottle of EU test enanthate, will this also have the same ingredients and possibly do the same as the Cyp I been taking or should I give the enanthate a try?
If I do discover at the end of the day that I get this effect from all sorts of brands of Test does this mean I must stop taking test completely or look for a remedy to fix the issues while on test?

In response to prohunt, your blood pressure should be nothing to worry about at that reading. It's prehypertensive. Also, don't take it after caffeine (which I'm assuming you had in the morning, lol) as it can skew results and elevate your bp. That reading isn't much use in isolation though, you should measure it everyday at the same time to get a baseline off cycle and on.

that's the chart that we use for blood pressure staging.

I don't know what EU uses in their formulations, so not sure if switching to EU's enanthate will have a different effect.
If test is the cause and not a brand specific formulation, then we'll have to try and find the actual cause first... but that's easier said than done in most cases as explained by LesDoctor. In my opinion switching to a new brand is the easiest, quickest and cheapest option and that's what you've done so let's wait and see what happens.

Thanks for the advice. I ordered the Pfizer and PGW Cyp. Gonna take 2 or 3 days off till I feel better then try the EU enanthate I have. If it persists I will go off till I feel better then try the Pfizer and same for PGW and so on. This feeling sucks as I know very well the God like feeling test gives a person. Only crap thing now is it will take weeks and weeks to figure out which works and which does not

I wish you the best. It might take you a while to figure out what the issue is or possibly not. Even for insane gains I'd never sacrifice feeling good.

admin wrote: You were fine on the Ciconne Cyp 500mg but not on EU Cyp 500mg, so the issue is most likely not from the hormone itself, but rather from the contents of the injectable. You will be surprised how many issues I see are due to the solvents UG labs use.

This is very interesting.. Below are two links around hormones and ferritin. Do you find that its only while you on a cycle that your iron is effected, or is it high off cycle? I have had high iron for as long as I can remember, however I was a teen I had to supplement iron due to it being very low. I've actually had to have a letter from my Endo to ask for me to bleed, I have not been allowed to donate due to it being so high. I think my ferritin levels where over 700 last year or the year before, I can't remember, but when I went to donate last weekend I thought I'd have to bleed and not be allowed donating and my iron came back perfect but I'm off test now. So I'm wondering if the same doesn't happen to me, when on gear it goes up. I'll try find the other article I read awhile ago where it said that testosterone should regulate it but this doesn't seem to be the case outside of these trials?

Interesting in deed. 8 years ago I was diagnosed with hyemocromotosis (high iron levels) and I had to donate blood once a month until recently. I changed doctors and told him about this and 3 months back he sent me in for full blood work to test my iron as well as testosterone and bunch of other stuff I have no idea about. The results came back and my iron was way low he said.
S-Fe iron 22.5umol/L
S-Ferritin 9.00ng/ml
So I take it what you trying to say is that when we on gear maybe our iron spikes again?

My iron levels are always on the high side, but on cycle it goes up even more. I had an iron deficiency when very young, but after some supplementation never had low levels again. My mother’s side of the family tend to have high iron levels.
SANBS didn’t allow me to donate awhile back, because the portable machine measured 18.5 but they sent a blood sample for lab testing and it came back as 17.5 so they allowed me to donate without a doctors letter. The portable machine measured 17.5 again last week. I’m not on cycle now so will see what the reading is when I donate again in 8 weeks.
I tend to eat allot of iron rich food, but when my levels were at their highest I couldn’t go near iron rich food without feeling repulsed... now I’m back to craving red meat... interesting how one’s body responds when there’s an excess of minerals.

Very interesting. And even more interesting regarding the craving. The misses is not a red meat eater, but she suffers extremely low iron where supplementation does not work and has to do an infusion every 3 months. And only now that you have mentioned it does it click, she stops eating most meat after the infusion and now where we nearly on the 3 month mark she is eating meat daily. The human body is fascinating.

Maybe in our cases, but research says otherwise.
Strange how like with admin and myself we started off low, and then suffer high later in life. My endo explained that it normally comes when both parents have some H gene, even one can parse it on. I wish I could remember the exact details he gave me, but was something to do with a virus or something along those lines and our bodies to protect ourself created this gene which now is no longer necessary for our survival but elevates homocysteine, iron and and and. Ill try ask him again in a couple when I see him again.

I know he will test my liver, kidneys, free and total testosterone and my iron. Anything else I should check?
Thanks again for everyone’s input
