Gyno and Aromisan was created by Ironman2303
Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and my first forum ever. I hate asking questions but I guess with this stuff you need the experienced guys to help. I have searched the forum but couldn't really find a straight up answer as there always seem to be some contradicting responses on the topic of gyno or maybe I missed something. Anyway...

I am 30yo and 100kg. Have been training for a long time so decided to give this stuff a go for once. Just want to increase strength and some muscle mass, not really looking to bulk so that I look like Hulk (I know this doesn't happen in 1 cycle)

I started my first test cyp cycle at 300mg per week divided into two doses. My first injection was last Friday and on Monday I started noticing a burning sensation in my nipples. This continued into Tuesday/Wednesday but yesterday (Thurs) it went away and now am feeling it again this morning. The fact that it got better yesterday was actually a good sign I suppose, but why does it come and go. I am a bit anxious about it, I just want to know a bit more so that I can address it when needed and get the timing right.

I have done extensive research on this topic and I know some people experience nipple sensitivity due to the hormones etc and it is not something to worry about as this is normal for some users. I do have Aromisan on hand for in case but I am not sure if it is too early to start taking it and if I am being a bit paranoid. I also want to wait a bit to see if I am prone to Gyno before starting any AI.

My questions are:

1) When should you start to worry about it being Gyno? Timeline? My nipples are not sensitive to the touch though but feels burny. No real hard stuff under nipples and I try not to really touch them much.
2) When would I start using Aromisan because I don't want to start it too early (or late for that matter) on and actually realize I didn't need it?
3) How long does it take for gyno to become permanent? I was thinking of waiting another week before starting to take any AI - recommendations?
4) What dosage aromisan would you guys recommend, I obviously want the minimum dosage and will up if needed
5) Can I use Aromisan for the duration of the cycle or should I discontinue after symptoms have subsided?

Lastly, when I did bloods, my test in the higher range and my estrogen was "higher than normal" but still within the acceptable range according to the doc.

Thanks guys, any feedback and help appreciated.

Wow 300mg per week and you've felt nipple sensitivity within a couple of days? That's really unfortunate bud....It comes and goes because of the aromitization of testosterone to estrogen i.e the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. Whenever you inject your test, part of it will aromatize as well and the amount varies from person to person. Like for me personally I only start feeling that burning itchy sensation at 600mg test per week.

1) When should you start to worry about it being Gyno? Timeline? My nipples are not sensitive to the touch though but feels burny. No real hard stuff under nipples and I try not to really touch them much.

I felt this same thing and I used 50mg proviron and the feeling disappeared. This being due to proviron having anti estrogen effects. However, proviron is NOT an A.I so it doesn't do anything for your actual estrogen issues which is where the issue lies.

2) When would I start using Aromisan because I don't want to start it too early (or late for that matter) on and actually realize I didn't need it?

Try a different administration protocol for your testosterone first and see if it helps. More frequent injections at smaller amounts means smaller amounts of aromatization. This could be the solution to your problem but if the problem persists, then you should use aromasin at minimum dose to see what dose helps . I'm assuming your testosterone is dosed at 300mg per ml?If it is then try pinning 0.2ml eod and see how that works. Mind you, the weekly dose will be a little lower than 300mg per week ( 0.2ml mon wed fri sun = 0.8ml = 240mg per week and the next week tues thurs sat = 180mg but the difference will hardly be noticeable at all if any ) Alternatively you can do 0.3ml mon wed fri which equates to 270mg per week. Try either one before using your aromasin and see if it helps you out :)

Lastly, when I did bloods, my test in the higher range and my estrogen was "higher than normal" but still within the acceptable range according to the doc.

Was this test done when you were natural? Because if it was, then this gives us the answer. Your body naturally has more estrogen than the average male, and putting your testosterone at supraphysiological levels has in turn, increased your estrogen levels out of the acceptable range. Get a blood test done again to know for sure

Okay thanks for the info. Will try a different administration protocol and see. Luckily it has not gotten worse which I can only assume is a good sign?

I taped my nipples to see if it might help and it actually does. Which lead me to believe that its the skin thats more sensitive now and when my shirt rubs it it causes irritation. Just to clarify, can that also be a sign of gyno apart from the regular symptoms one should look out for?

Yes, bloods were done natural. Will get more done in the coming week to check levels.

Thanks

You shouldn't have any sensation in your nipples. If you are, you on the path of developing some tissue, to what level that purely is down to how long you leave it. The best is a blood test and give us the actual values not just the higher side of normal.

Certainly a bit elevated on the natural side. What is your bodyfat and height? Let's get your E2 tested again, my body personally doesn't like being over 90 pmol/L, but I have gyno and it just flares up the tissue that is already there.

BF around 17% height 180. Any suggestions where I can get it tested without going through a doc? Or is that generally the only way?

You can also go to Ampath. Don't need doctor referral

Important to take into account that most guys on 300mg week testosterone with normal E2 are going to have E2 levels above the normal range, and most still won't need an AI at that dose.

So if you're planning on doing a blood test just to see if you're E2 levels are normal, then IMO save yourself the money because since your baseline level is above quite a bit above average, then no surprise, you are going to have high E2 now. But always good to know how you respond by seeing the numbers.

1x 5mg cap per day of LP Aromasin should be perfect on 300mg test.

I would do that.. If you have the 20mg Aromasin, take it every 3rd day or so and check your bloods in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the info and help everyone. Took first dose of Aromisan yesterday and will do every 3rd day to see, but it does feel better, unless its just in my mind but even if that's the case, at least not as paranoid about it anymore. Will get bloods done soon and let ya'll know.
