Finasteride was created by DR.DEATH
I'm contemplating starting Finasteride to combat hair loss. 0.5mg per day.

When I do cycle, I only run Test, eq and tbol. No DHT derivatives. Hair thinning becomes very apparent around the 500mg test/per week mark. Male pattern baldness runs in the family too. Being in my mid 30's, it's becoming very noticeable.

I'm getting mixed reviews from different doctors though, anyone with experience taking Fin?

•Is this drug as bad as some claim?
•Would dosing EOD reduce some of the sides?
•Any other alternatives I should consider?

I've done a lot of reading but would like some experienced guys' feedback/input before I make the final decision.

Thanks

You can explore topical options first.
Topical finasteride etc.

It sounds like you have the perfect storm.... using androgenic substances + genetic component.
Why not consider dutasteride, if you are going for oral medication?

The whole PFS community, I don't think it is bullshit completely but definitely over-the-top.
With most adverse reactions, the minority affected are always vocal, similar with other cosmetic drugs.

Consider the risk, most do recover, but understand it is still a risk.

Out of interest, did DHT derivatives hit you hard? Primo, anavar, winny?

Thanks for the feedback.

I've never ran primo or winny due to them not being 'hair safe', would love to though. Ran Anavar a few times, no additional noticeable shedding from what I could see, but difficult to gauge. Dbol a big no-no as well, wrecks my hairline.

Against my better judgement I tried all OTC supplements to reduce DHT too (Saw Palmetto, stinging nettle root etc) with little to no improvement.

I'm looking into nizoral shampoo, topical minoxidil and finasteride as a hair loss stack. As for topical finasteride, I can't seem to source it anywhere in SA.

The obvious solution would probably be to just shave my head, but shit then I look like a muscular uncle fester. Tried it a couple of times, the fairer sex = not impressed.

I struggle to understand why hair is so important to you. We all have our things, but do you not like the shape of your head or something?

Agreed.
Fuck the societal push for men to have hair.
I still sympathize that some men do want to keep their hair, and support them to try keep it.

But overall, society pushing all this dogma and normalizing men being bald as a bad thing is something we should change.

Never met a guy that doesn't pull of being bald OP, matter of perspective.
Personally, I wonder if hair transplants aren't a better solution.

Some feedback, decided against using Finasteride. Risk vs reward not worth it, in my opinion.

Bought a cheap hairclipper, problem solved. Actually doesn't look too bad once you get used to it.

I'm glad, good choice. I'm the same, normally a number 1
