Deca and Prolactin Levjels

On a number of sites it is recommended that Cabaser be used with Deca to control prolactin levels. However, in a human trail with anemia patients prolactin levels increased with the administration of Test Ethantate (Test) and decreased during the Administration Of Nandrolone Decaonate (Deca).

If Deca decreases prolactin levels and Test increases prolactin, why is Cabaser recommended on a cycle containing Deca and not on a Test only cycle ?
An increase in prolactin may result in a decrease in androgen receptors and an increase in estrogen, which is not ideal.
Could it be that the combination of compounds exacerbates the increase of prolactin levels?

You can't come to any conclusions based on that study. The doses do not correlate with with steroid use for hypertrophy. Animal studies show a big increase in prolactin activity at higher doses.
Female hormones in a guy's body at slightly increased levels are far less likely cause to side effects if he has a high levels of androgens, while the exact same level of female hormones post cycle or during PCT can cause bad gyno. Deca is way less androgenic than testosterone. It's about hormonal balance first.

Good question. There's no clear cut research on this that I know of. Deca is a progestin but it's actions are not the same as progesterone so one can't assume it would inhibit prolactin the same way.
There are quite a few types of progesterone receptors that mediate different actions, but the cells in our pituitary that produce prolactin, the lactotrophs, also have the same type of progesterone receptor that nandrolone binds to. There's no clear science showing for sure that this is definitely how deca elevates prolactin levels but it makes sense. But it only seems to at high doses and different people have different responses.

The Endocrine system work on negative feedback. This mean that the Stimulating hormones like FSH and LH is secreted by the Pineal gland and act on the production sites stimulating the release of testosterone and Estrogen.
The stimulating hormone will continue to increase until the production site can manage the required levels of the circulating hormone - in this instance testosterone and Estrogen.
Once the correct levels are reached it would have a negative influence on the LH and FSH and the secretion of those would reduce.
Reduction in LH / FSH mean the production sites have reduced stimulation to secrete the Testosterone
This is called a negative feedback and that is how the body regulate your hormones.
Prolactin is also secreted by the Pineal glad and as such would be increased during over activity.
The challenge with artificial steroids is that the effect on the muscles depend on a different part of the molecule than what binds to the Pineal glad . As such your artificial steroids might not be able to bind to the receptors in the pineal glad and may not be able to maintain the negative feedback

A lot of misinformation here. The pineal gland has nothing to do with anything you mentioned.

:pinch: Rather apologise for hacking this thoroughly... The pineal gland only secretes Melatonin. The Pituitary Gland is the culprit in all this. Verify your "copy and paste" before you copy and paste

Edit: I see MA beat me to it. Only saw you reply after I got up from falling off my chair
