Bad Shot? Possible infection? Advise? was created by just_your_average_gym_bro
Is it normal to get bump on injection site after injection. I recently started pinning. I have pinned few times and didn't notice anything. But yesterday I pinned and today noticed buttock was very itchy and developed small lump.
I only inject on buttocks no where else. Incase of bad shot.
How do I know if I did a bad shot and it is infected? Any help if anyone knows?
Also I always do protocols of cleaning my stuff before I pin.

You do get a kak pin now and then, especially with short esters.

Infection will take a few days,
Red, swollen and warm.
Probably just a bad shot

If its not better by now, you should probably see a doc.
You typically get fevers etc if its infected / really bad shot.
Lumping and some redness happens sometimes and should subside in a day or two (although I have had lumps when pinning sub-q that stay for 3 or 4 days )
