I have noticed I have started to develop a lot of acne on my face. I think test is finally fully kicking in as I am on test cyp. I don't have any acne visible on my chest or back. It's just my face. Really starting to blow up. I haven't had acne for a long while. How do you guys deal with it. Will any generic medicine from any super market help. Or do I need prescription?
Really looks bad. I have changed pillow case and regularly wash face cause of this.
What works best for me other than going the hardcore accutane route is an antibiotic like doximal. It kills the bacteria that infects your pores and also stops the inflammation. I only get acne when I come off cycle or if I'm not consistent with my dosing. Hormonal imbalance is the #1 cause of AAS acne. Once your blood levels stabilise the pimples should go.
Regular supplements do absolutely nothing for me if I get acne, but a topical salicylic acid based cleanser or cream helps for small areas so are a good option if it's just your face.
Can also go with Nizoral shampoo that you use as a face wash, you need to leave it on the face for 3 minutes. Off label use can be acne control due to the fact it contains anti androgen.
