Cardarine and high heart rate was created by Zephyr
Hi all

I have searched and haven’t found a topic on my issue on the forum.

I am taking 10mg Cardarine in the morning. From the first night, my sleeping resting heart rate  increased from 45 to 60 and my normal daily  heart rate increased from 70 to 90. I can live with the higher rate during the day (it’s not ideal though), but I'm struggling to sleep at night.

I stopped taking it after 4 days and my heart rate went back to normal. Started taking the Cardarine again and the exact same effects occurred.

This doesn’t seem to be a normal side-effect? What can I trouble shoot? Should I contact the manufacturer?

I’m 42 years old, 100kg, about 15% body fat, eating 3200 cal/day (maintenance), drinking 3l of water, getting 8 hrs sleep (before taking this), no alcohol.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What brand of cardarine are you taking? I know that there is a brand of yohimbine and cardarine together.

Also try taking 600mg magnesium prior to bed to help with relaxation.

I haven't experienced this from cardarine personally. What is your heart rate like when you are training compared to normal. Does your heart rate recover faster than normal now after sprints/hiit/intense lifting sets?

Guess it just goes down to the individual, nothing on my side and I do intense cardio multiple times a week. My average resting heart rate is around 45 to 48

Cardio. Going up to 85% of max heart rate and allowing it to come down to 60% and back up again for 20mins 3-4x a week.

Chemically, nebivolol.

Sorry for the late reply. I decided to stop use after 8 days as on day 6 headaches started too, and didn't go away. I presume it was in combination with poor sleep from the elevated heart rate. My Garmin was telling me I wasn't going into REM sleep at all. After stopping, it took 2 days for my heart rate to return to normal.

To answer your questions -
@Empire: The brand was LP. Thanks, I'll remember Magnesium going forward.
@Muscleaddict: My heart rate hardly changed while working out. In a 10 minute WOD, after the initial increase, it was sitting between 165 and 175. I took longer to recover than before taking the cardarine.
@00pump: I don't know, maybe it's just me. At some point I'll try again, although I'm now skeptical after 2 failed attempts.
