Ive been wondering a long time about this one, but what determines the price of products produced by an undergroung lab? I can understand the economics of a fully fledged pharmacutical company, i.e.,return on research costs, getting substances approved for use, importation costs, purity tests, etc. A UGL doesnt need approval, nor comply with any statutor requirements, no research costs, nor imporation costs if made locally. I also undrstand supply and demand. But what makes Anavar more expensive that DBol, Prop more expensive than Cip, and Anadrol more than DBol. And why is Primobolan so expensive?

All the UGLs price their products more or less the same. Is one product inherently more expensive to manufacture than another? I'm nor pharmicist, so please excuse the ignorance.:silly:

Not being an expert but I think there's a couple of contributing factors here.
I think they do have to import the raw product and the reason that it isn't legit probably pushes up the price too.
Remember it has to be worth the effort financially because they take the risk of producing illegal pharmaceuticals so their asses are on the line all of the time.
Most companies has professional people working for them like an admin team and a couple of bio-chemists I would think.
And another reason might be why it's quite pricey is that you can't get it else where so they pretty much are in a positions where they can dictate pricing.

Personally i think there was a main company distributing in SA then new companies started emerging and basically all ther prices are similar because if one company can charge X amount for a product then so can the other..
Generally the cost of the various raw materials differ therefore the price of the finished products aren't the same

did you see on youtube the canadian bust... a BD, pfizer counterfeiter! there was a shit load of gear

funny thing is BD closed down (as they say)... but theres still bd gear floating around

i think the continous "purity" testing pushes up the cost... lol injecting product x(which is not purified) and ur bicep explodes like greg valentino

Testosterone
Train hard
Bone like a monkey!

Yes, some of them do... Why do you think a particular brand well known to this forum has NEVER caused an infection due to bad gear, painless Prop and perfect dosing? Because they employ bio-chemist(s) and use proper clean room(s) to make the gear in.

Prices are different from supplier to supplier and from compound to compound. UG labs also take huge risk by importing raw powder and equipment are expensive, so they can charge whatever they like and if you are not happy with the prices you can get their product at, just don't buy it then.

There is a key difference between the two statements above. While vega5 said

you said

Yes, some of them do...

This latter statement I will gladly agree with although it is not always the case.
I have no clue how some of the well known brands here make their gear but I have faith in them from previous experience.

How hard is it to get raw powders? I've always considered home brewing in the back of my mind but I'm a bit worried about the risk, because one can still get charged for possession with intent to sell even if they are just buying it for themselves.

Yes, correct, its not always the case... see the Taurus thread for one such company.

When making orals there is not much that can go wrong other than overdosing, under dosing and maybe mixing up active ingredients.
Contaminants like heavy metals are bad for your health in orals, but in injectables it can be very harmful, so I'm very skeptical about new injectable brands and more so when they are very cheap. The equipment to produce simple things like tablets are very expensive, so imagine how expensive it is to setup a clean room and mass produce gear without getting noticed by the wrong people.

When most UG labs start up they can easily manage to produce gear safely, but as soon as volumes rise most will start to cut corners. One of the first things they do is reuse micro filers or push too large volumes of oil through them and then they can tear and let bacteria through. That is why I was first in line to bad mouth CDG when I heard people noticed strands of filter in the vials. Maybe they were sterile like some claimed, but I'm not going to end up like that dude with the infection in the other thread.

I will rather pay extra to our friends at PGW and know that I receive a quality product...

Not too hard, but getting decent amounts into the country can become a problem... please don't ask for any suppliers though... Rule no 2!

Yep, I've seen what you do to people that break the rules.

If I can ask, do you know what sort of small volumes of raw powders one can bring in? Like for instance you talk of when UGL's start out, what kind of volumes are they able to aquire?
Of course for home brewing you don't want to sell the product so importing massive amounts that are gonna sit around just wont do

I cannot give out any details regarding the process of importing or shipping as that will put our UG labs at risk and the last thing I want is to expose their ways to the authorities... I also can't tell you the amounts imported... do not ask why, but I have a very good reason.

Your best and most reliable bet is to chat to UG labs you know and ask them to buy raws from them. Then you don't run the risk of getting into serious trouble and you know that you get legitimate powder.

Discussing sources and their practices. If you have dealt with a source and are discussing his ways of conducting business or shipping your post will be deleted, and you will be disciplined (banned)...

I must say, i'm obviously loyal to the product itself, but i've also put my foot down about the bottling process , there's no excuse for cutting corners! The guys are at least committed to replacing any products affected but I can really understand anyone not wanting to use it again after finding fibres in the bottles.
