scratch no5

22 or 23 Gauge, 1.5 Inch is ideal for injections into the glutes.

25 Gauge, 1.0 inch is ideal for injections into the quads and can be used for all spot injections.

25 Gauge, 5/8 inch is often used for tricep/bicep/delts

As far as I know, with roids, its best to jab the glute...Injecting into the bi or tricep wont make that muscle grow any faster thou cos of initial swelling in the area the muscle may look bigger...

I agree with Beesting, no pinning in the bi's or even the tri's for me.

Site injections are gererally for synthol, a synthetic oil that is injected to make your muscles appear fuller. It has no anabolic properties. It's generally used for pre contest preparation - to make muscles appear full and to iron out slight asymmetry. Only really used by the top guys. Not a great idea, can cause renal failure.

Most novices look at site injecting due to lagging body part. This is wrong. Also, site injecting anything other than a water based compound is a waste. You can inject in your glute or quad, why you ask? Well, if you doing regular courses and mixing esters, long ones and short ones your injection protocol changes. Long ones is ok as you inject twice a week normally. With short esters you inject allot more often and you ass takes strain hence the swap to the quad, a bigger muscle and easy to inject. Your body still has to metabolize the ester. If site injecting worked on oil based compounds we would all have huge glutes.

Lagging body parts will only grow if you have good form and isolate the muscle with the correct movement, site injecting in those areas will not aid growth if there is no isolation in the training movement.

That mentality is the same as rubbing protein powder on the lagging body part and expecting better growth in that area.

It is not what car you drive, but the size of the arm hanging out the window.
