Sentence?

Can someone tell me (did a search on the forum) where I could find a link to the law and penalties when you get caught with gear and the penalties per unit (and what they define as a unit) and at what point are you considered as a dealer/distributor and the sentence for that.

Which of the following compounds is rated as scheduled (prescribed) drugs?
1) Letrozole
2) Clenbuterol
3) HCG
4) Exemestane
5) Clomid
6) Nolvadex

all compounds mentioned needs a prescription.

being in possession of perscription medication and hormones without an perscription is considered being in possession of an illegal substance. in this case you would be charged and sentenced under the pharmaceutical act and not the illegal hardcore drugs per se.

However the sentence would be determined mainly by the prosecutor and the presiding judge. Keep in mind that prosecutors dont have time and government money to waste on an extremely low profile case that wont lead to any major success or crime reduction.

as soon as you make a profit or money is exexchanged in a transaction with the medication mentioned, then you are considered as dealing no matter how small the amount.

Unless you are a major distributor and extremely careless, then you have nothing to worry about. nobody gives a shit about the little guys. In my opinion even the major distributors shouldnt be prosecuted as our contry has much more important things to worry about. but it has to be regulated.

All of the products listed are considered to be "scheduled" or prescription only medicines. Unauthorized possession (i.e. when they are not lawfully prescribed for your by a medical doctor and dispensed for you by a registered pharmacist) is illegal in terms of section 22A(1) of the Medicines and Related Substances Control Act. The penalty is up to R250 000 fine or 10 years imprisonment. Like wise it is also illegal to manufacture or import the products. If you guys want to play with the big boys at least know the rules so you don't cry when the shit hits the fan.

Thanks guys. And yes, I want to know the rules to keep within as far as possible. I take part(like many others) in boards overseas and you can't compare their laws with ours. I once tried to Google the South African laws but after a couple of hours I gave up. The South African boards that I used to know showed little to no activity so I dumped it due to the lack of interest.
