Very, very good post and I'm sure everybody need to know this. I had the following done in June and it also cost me an arm and a leg.

Blood Count
Platelet Count
Electrolytes Urea
Creatinine
Bilirubin Total
Bilirubin Conjugated
Alkaline Phosphatase
Gamma GT

Please could the pros restructure the list and suggest which is most important.

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

The type of blood tests you get depends on:
What specific pre-existing problems do you have already
Where are you with your cycle plan? Pre, during, post?
What is it your concerned about?

From the tests you guys have posted we can group them into catagories:
Kidney and Liver function
urea and electrolytes
creatinine
gamma GT
ALT
AST
LDH
bilirubin
Alkaline phosphatase

Heart problems and other muscle trauma
ALT
AST
LDH
CPK
Cardiac troponin T

Potential Cardiovascular threats
Cholesterol
LDL
HDL
TRIG

Blood sugar etc...
HbAc1
Somatomedin
Glucose
Insulin

Thyroid function
TSH
FT4
FT3

Sex hormones
Test
SHBG
DHEA-S
FSH
LH
Prolactin

Immune function
Full blood cell and platelet counts
E S R

Right, so... Tests for immune function and blood sugar are not really needed unless you have a particular concern (getting sick alot or are sick) or a particular health problem (diabetic).

As you can see there is some overlap between muscle trauma and liver function. AST, ALT, LDH an CPK are all elevated following exercise induced trauma and heart attack but soon subside afterwards. These enzymes will be tested for within 4 hours of a suspected heart attack.
gamma GT and bilirubin alone are enough to indicate a serious liver problems (though the others help to indicate a potential problem)just like protein and elevated creatinine are good to test for kidney function. Kidney values can be affected by creatine supplementation though (stress).

Thyroid function should be tested for following
exogenous thyroid hormone usage or during and after HGH usage or when one suspects a problem.

Post cycle and PCT I would make Sex hormones, and lipid profiles the two main sections to test, in as much detail as possible. If these values do not look good I would test again before starting another cycle.
Other values I would only really test when suspecting a problem or in extreme instances of abusive usage.

PSA is useful in older men and those suspecting prostate cancer and other prostate porblems. Good to check every few cycles.

Was that R2000+ with being on medical aid? I went last week and I'm getting my results today. I really hope it doesn't cost that much.

I've got my blood tests results back today and kidney and liver function is almost 4 times normal. I'm very nervous these days because my son is 9 months old and I don't want to kick the bucket before he's two years old. So should I go off the juice and go natural or will the counts return to normal.

I've always gone for blood and the count returns to normal generally but i'm very scared of the day it doesn't.

I know this is probably a personal issue but I would appreciate your input.

Are you on cycle or off cycle? If you off cycle and have elevated liver and kidney values this does suggest some damage. Would be best to sort this out first bro. Always look after health first.
(File Removed)
If you on cycle was your previous blood work also from on cycle? If so and values never as high as now, then this is also indicative of damage, and same advice applies...

There are other factors to test for the same end points as well if you want to be more thorough about a particular area. I just went off what you had...
