Bleeding injection

Ok so i injected a friend of mine today,loaded syringe,popped it into the glute,aspirated,saw the bubbles and injected slowly.But when i pulled the needle out some blood oozed out of the injection site(about a ml or 2)i didnt see any oil in the blood.Then i applied pressure to the bleeding and it stopped.First time i saw something like that.

Does the injection need to be repeated?

Perfectly normal.

No need to repeat unless you like seeing friends asss

Very carefully inspect the site tiny morning afternoon and night ED.

Did this particular "wimp" relax his buttock before during and after you "poked" him? :blink: (This sounds really bad... :laugh: )
If he was clenching out of fear, that may have caused the bleeding...

Think this thread got jacked.

My answer to actual question, it's fine, I've had plenty of bleeders that had no blood when I aspirated.
Probably the needle moved slightly while actually injecting and hit a blood vessel. No biggie. I've had quad pins that actually spurted blood in my face, that had no blood on aspiration. Just left a nasty bruise, but was fine.
I only get bleeders on quads and delts.

LOL thanks guys for hijacking my thread.There was definitely no romance involved.You guys seem more experienced in this department regarding KY jelly,etc.But his glute was not flexed at all.I think i probably hit a vein somewhere along the way.

I used a 21G for my B12 injection the other day and it bled pretty bad.
maybe try sticking to 23G?

22 guage is best,i have done 26 guage and i really dont like waiting 45mins waiting for my plunger to move past the 1ml mark

Way less chance of scar tissue buildup over time and I use 20G to draw the medicine, then swap to 26G pin to inject.

ummm well explain to me,26 guage is usually a hald inch or inch pin at maxium,unless u have tiny muscles u wont get deep enough to put 3-4mls in the muscle... thats my opinion unless u are using a 1.5inch 26 guage which i doubt

They currently 26G 1 inch like you said. They long enough for me to pin shoulders and quads. Use 2ml at most. Nurse friend did not have 26G 1.5 when asked. Did have during previous cycle

Have 25G 1.5inch for Glutes incase I need to go there.

well thats why u asperate kitchen knife jnr... if blood comes into the syringe u have hit a vessel,take it out change the needle and try a different spot...

shot....but when injecting you should look to inject in the more upper region of your glutes??...coz thats where the muscle should be

if you're injecting into the glutes, seperate the area into quadrants and aim high and right.
