Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you have used these drugs before?

Cabergoline - Brand names: Dostinex/Cabaser (Anti-Prolactin)
Lasofoxifene - Brand names: Oporia (Estrogen SERM)

If you know of a good source in SA, please email me their contact details.

Admin,

You may post the info we discussed - it will save some time.
Have never heard of the second drug you mentioned - will try to find out about it.

I contacted Doctari to ask his expert advice about anti-Progesterone drugs.

We basically discussed the different causes for gynecomastia and the best cures. This is my layman’s explanation on the subject:

There are mainly two culprits for steroid induced gyno, oestrogen and progesterone (or both).

Gyno caused by oestrogen usually are painful and have lumps under the nipples. The best treatment for this “type” of gyno is oestrogen SERMs like Tamoxifen (Kessar) and/or aromatase inhibitors like Anastrozole (Arimidex).

Progesterone-related gyno usually causes excess adipose tissue to be stored around the nipples giving if a “puffy” look. It is also possible to lactate if you squeeze hard on the nipple. Effective treatment for this “type” of gyno is Cabergoline (Dostinex and Cabaser). The problem is that Dostinex is extremely expensive. The retail price is about R330 for two 0.5mg tabs... and you need to take 1mg for about three weeks, so it’s going to cost you about R6930... and that’s if you can buy it from a pharmacy. Cabaser is cheaper, but difficult to find in SA.

I’m obviously not going to blow over R6000, just to find out that the treatment don’t work, so Doctari recommended that I take 600mg of Vitamin B6 daily and see if it can \"dry\" me up. I bought 30x 100mg tabs for only R3.

I have tried Kessar, but it had absolutely no effect, so I’m going to give Vit B6 a try and if there’s no improvement in about two weeks, then I probably don’t have gyno in the first place as my body fat percentage is still quite high (15%). Will keep you updated on my fight with pseudogynecomastia.

Read up on epistane (available as Havoc my biotec (HMT)) - some research out there showing the gyno reducing effects of epistane, only problem is that we cant guaruntee what Dean has put in his Havoc. But if you are back to the wall it might be worth a try.

Hi, dudes - I'm back!

Admin, please give feed back on what has happened with your problem in the mean time.

There is a herb that will become available early next year, working the same way as Proviron. It is currently in study - pre-lim results show it to be as effective as Proviron. Will let you know more when I have been informed of its release. Will be capsulated locally in Cape Town by reputeable pharmaceutical company.

Hey doc,

How was your vacation?

It seems to be a false alarm, I'm still taking 600mg - B6 though and there has been a huge improvement, but I think it's more as a result of cutting away at my body fat percentage. I'm not going to eliminate progesterone completely, but other than the nipple puffiness, I had no other gyno symptoms like lumps, pain, lactation ect.

Yes, please keep us informed about that herb... do you think it can be used in competition preparation as well, to increase muscle hardness? Is it similar to Proviron's anti-estrogenic or androgenic properties?

I would love to give it a go, so if you think they need a guinea pig to test it, please forward my details. ;)

Nah, Bro - I will probably be the little piggy they try it on!

Spoke to Brett Murphy from SOLAL/FINE - he will send me the results of the tests currently being done - the moment I have it, you will be the next to know. I would first want to know how effective it will be compared to Proviron milligram to milligram dosage.

All I know for now, is that it will fall into the category of Phyto-medicines(plant derived, standardized medicines) and that it has a high affinity for SHBG. And that Solal will have it in their line of products, probably(I guess) as an ingredient to their Men's Formula product.

Just to keep everyone informed:

I managed to track down a legit source for Cabaser; the price for 20x 1mg tabs including shipping from Europe is about R580.

Here are some photos in the gallery: www.anabolicsteroids.co.za/gallery/pharmacia_upjohn/cabaser/

Have you tried Bromocriptine? South African version is PArlodel -- very expensive,, but there are much cheaper generics from iran

it interferes with gh production but if you are on exogenous gh that should not be a problem

If it's not working,,, take double,,,

Thanks for the info, Batman.

I will do some research about Bromocriptine.

It seems that the Cabaser is affecting me emotionally... I know that some people get very emotional on Clomid, but the Cabaser has exactly the opposite effect on me... even my usual aggressiveness is less. I'm also slurring and mumbling sometimes, but I think that's due to lack of sleep over the last two weeks.

Cool,, Let us know how it goes ,, I think puffy nips are something that affects most of us who use juice. I found Bromo / Parlodel quite effective,, but I didn't like the side effects ,, it made me drowsy and congested.

I found this online about side effects ,, I think the one about inability to resist gambling is funny : As far as I know Bromo

# Difficulty performing voluntary movements, resulting in jerky or involuntary movements or muscle twitches (dyskinesia).

# Abnormally increased muscular activity or hyperactivity.

# False perceptions of things that are not really there (hallucinations).

# Confusion.

# Disturbances of the gut such as indigestion, diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain.

# Inflammation of the stomach.

# Low blood pressure (hypotension).

# Dizziness.

# Fluid retention causing swollen ankles (peripheral oedema).

# Chest pain (angina).

# Sleepiness.

# Suddenly falling asleep.

# Fibrosis or inflammation affecting the lower back, heart or lungs.

# Inability to resist impulses to gambling (pathological gambling).

# Increased sex drive (libido) and excessive interest or involvement in sexual activity (hypersexuality).

If it's not working,,, take double,,,

Ok, these are the side-effects I have experienced so far:

  • False perceptions of things that are not really there (hallucinations).
  • Confusion.
  • Dizziness.
  • Sleepiness.
  • Suddenly falling asleep.
  • Increased sex drive (libido) and excessive interest or involvement in sexual activity (hypersexuality).

  • The ones in bold are the worst.

I lowered the dose to 0.5mg yesterday; so we'll see what effects it'll still have on me in a few days. The sleepiness is almost constant, so that's why I thought earlier that my speech problems were because of lack of sleep.

EDIT: I have to add though that I fall asleep in seconds every night, so that is one plus.

Yeah, I think there's a small improvement, but not as much as I was hoping for. We'll see how it turns out in a few days. I'm also using Kessar and Proviron with the Cabaser.

Hi guys looking to join this forum. Since this thread talk about gynecomastia, I was just wondering if the only way to get rid of it is surgery and if one was to take some substances would that make it worse? I have form of gynecomastia, the hard lump under your nipples, it never went away from after puberty and I always had.
