Shoulder pains was created by Morphosis
Hey guys, need some help, i am currently taking the following:

Nomatropin 2iu eod ( Been running for 2 months)
D-Bol 50 mg day split dosages ( have two weeks left)
Sust 250 500mg/week
deca 200 400 mg/week

Now question, I'm aware that my fingers hurt when i make a fist, and that is due to the Nomatropin, now every night i battle to sleep as my shoulders are killing me, i cant sleep on my back as my wife complains bout the snoring, so when i sleep sideways keep having restless sleep due to pain on both side, but only during sleep.

Has anyone experienced this? is there something I'm missing?

thanks

You're getting too big and uncomfortable and that causes the pain. STOP taking steroids.
Only joking man - I used to get unbearable pain in my shoulders when training and when sleeping. I followed DJ's advice to take 9000mg Fish Oil(Omega3) and doing rotator cuff exercises before training shoulders or chest. The pain while training is gone, but I still get it while sleeping on both my sides.

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

Definately bump on NB there, the rotary exercises do wonders! Light weights tho just as a warm up- then keep your shoulder routine as compound as possible, bent fly's etc will all add to the pain. Over and above the omegas add in glucosamine does wonders! I know exactly what u talking about got it on the Var its fuckin hell!! But changed up the training warmed up rotary and upped the glucosamine- didn't go away but much better- surprised u got it with that list of compounds but anyway! Good luck!

Peace!

Thanks Moose, i also don't understand why I'm getting it with the compounds, i thought the deca would at least help with that... how long does it take for the deca to take effect once injected?

Erm its all about preference hey....im a physio fan but i know alot of guys here are chiro fans... Totally up to you but i might go for chiro for this one since it sounds like something a chiro could sort out... totally up to you though...

MR MOOSE!! Dont make me go down that road... Chiro's do not just treat the spine, we treat all joints and associated muscles! :D

Morph where you from? And i'll recommend a good chiro in your area ;)

Spike spike I know;)
Ha ha was just saying it could be a result of bad spinal alignment etc in which case a chiro would be better qualified to sort it out- if it is merely muscular a physio will be fine!

Go to that fourways medi-clinic across the road from fourways mall! Awsum phsio joint there, one in particular sorts out all my issues!

Peace

I have more or less the same prob in my left shoulder. Its very annoying. Cant go too heavy with shoulder and chest exercises. Weirdest thing is that i can push weights in the gym but for the love of god i cant pick up a bag filled with stuff from a counter top, i almost cry because of the pain. It also started now in my left arm where my bicep attaches to the bone at the bottom. I dont really know if it the bottom past of the bicep or the upper part of the front arm but its effing sore

for the shoulders do a lot of rotary cuff exercises as moose said as well as proper strecthing (static AND dynamic) and/or go see a physio or chiro.
the pain in the bottom of your bicep is a sort of tendonitis caused by an underdeveloped brachialis. its a muscle on the outside of the bicep that supports arm movement at the elbow. do hammer curls (relatively light for 3 sets of 15-20 reps 3 times a week) with your thumbs pointing up to the ceiling. it really helps. i lift heavy heavy weights almost all year round and these exercises (rotary cuff and brachs) are a MUST. the brachs also give your arms a nice look and helps to increase all your pressing movements.
hope this helps good luck! B)

It could also be, as with me, that you are overstressing the brachialis.
Cleanup the movement by eliminating the momentum and dropping the weight.
Dont overtrain the muscle either. If you use the EZ bar for Bi's your already hitting the brachialis. One exercise when you train forearms should be enough.

Thanx guys! Hammer curls is the only arm excercise i can do without too much discomfort. As for the brachialis i think i might have injured it with upright rows. At a stage i did 3 sets of 30 reps with about 30sec rest between sets. The reps were done rapidly so obviously the form was incorrect. Think i might have stressed both the shoulder and the brachialis doing this.

Will add rotator cuff excercises ASAP

Maybe have your shoulder checked out first...could be that you have torn the cartilage (worst case) and just increasing damage by continuing exercise

Most probably (and what I also suffered from) what your feeling is some inflammation in the joint, get yourself some joint support that includes msm to repair damaged joints, glucosamine that acts as "lubrication" for the joint and chondroitin that increases bloodflow around joints to reduce chance of inflammation. If you dont have brand preference get yourself some ssn joint support and just try it out...I've been on it for 3 months now and have not had any problems since

Also, try and do rotator cuff exercises on the same day as shoulder exercises but after you shoulder workout as to not tire the shoulders before your workout. Keep the weight very low

Do some nice shoulder stretching before shoulders, back, chest and bicep workouts...free hang from pullup bar for 30s and stretching in door frame also for 30s works great for me

Hope it helps
