Pain is weakness leaving the body
Retention of Gains was created by Rowan
Hi guys.
I know results vary from person to person, but I just wanted to find out - after completion of thorough & proper PCT; how much of the gains put on (while on cycle) can one expect to keep afterwards?
For example, I will be going on (my 1st) 12 week test only cycle (with dbol in front)- and starting pct 14 days after.
Both d-bol & test cyp are known for causing water retention, but once I have administered my pct, what can I expect to see?
Will i lose everything or will i keep at least some?
Also, generally how long should one wait after all hormones are back in check, nuts have dropped etc before doing another cycle?

Hi
There is a big difference between keeping your gains and keeping all the water you might carry.
You can keep 100% of your 'gains' with the correct PCT, that doesn't mean you will keep all your size "water retention", you wouldn't want to keep that sort of water anyway or you will be putting your kidneys under allot of strain as they will not be functioning properly.
If you run a low dose of an aromatise inhibitor this will help keep the water down and for you to keep a similar look after PCT to that of when you where on the cycle. A good diet on your cycle adjusted to when you finish your cycle will also help keep your gains "a simple modification to carbs can make you swell up or look hard as nails"
Send DJ a mail under the contact us section at the top and have him work out a diet for before and after. This way you will make sure you maximize your gains on your cycle and adjust the diet to aid in keeping your gains when you come off.
Sweet.

Just something i found on the web.
The guy who answers these questions makes some bold statements here - what do you guys think?
One of the arguments against steroid use is that all the gains I would make would disappear once I stopped using steroids. Is this true?
Yes, eventually, virtually all of the gains from steroid use would disappear. However, it would take years for that to happen. This is one of the reasons football players have not been getting smaller since drug testing began . Off-season, players don't get tested, and they can accrue enough muscle mass to "coast" though the playing season.
The same logic applies with drug-tested bodybuilding shows. A bodybuilder could swear on a polygraph that he hadn't used steroids for a year. Swell, except, during the year of being "clean," a good amount of steroid-generated muscle will still be there. Steroids are still the anabolic bargain. In the studies of geriatrics using growth hormone, all of the beneficial effects induced from the growth hormone went away within a matter of weeks. I predict that the same fleeting anabolism will happen with IGF-1. Clenbuterol's effects diminished even more rapidly. Many doctors don't want to admit it, but limited steroid use of a yearly, eight-week cycle would have virtually no adverse side effects and would probably vastly improve the health of the individual through the rest of the year. It would be interesting to put a group of bodybuilders on a mild short cycle and then track the decreases of muscle mass over the months after the end of the cycle. These results wouldn't surprise me, but I don't think the anti-steroid crowd would like to hear that steroid gains do last for a long time.

I don't believe that to be entirely true..
You just have to work harder as natural bodybuilder, but with the right diet and BIG IMPORTANT PART - Change the way you train, you can keep most of your mass. Yes its hard work and requires allot more diciplin but I feel its possible.
I'm not saying for 1 second you can get as big as a guy on steroids but i'm saying if you have used steroids and then stopped using them you can keep a major part of your mass. Remeber, there is a difference when guys use steroids and stop hopping to the 20/30kg mark over what their body could sustain naturally, yes then by all means your body wont be able to sustain that type of weight. However guys carrying that much extra mass are on steroids year round.
I am talking about a user that cycles steroids and gains some mass on a cycle, he can keep pretty much all of that, even 2 years down the line.
